Custom Mounts

🚀 **Create your own unique mount! **

This mod provides a powerful framework that allows you to create a variety of unique mounts spawned from custom stables.

---

🎯Basic usage

For the average player, just install this mod like any other and it will make all mods that create custom mounts work!

---

🛠️ Create a custom mount

**Step 1: Create a custom stable**

You need a custom building, set "BuildingType" to `StardewValley.Buildings.Stable`. You can refer to the building modification guide on the Stardew Valley wiki.

**Step 2: Configure mount data**

Use Content Patcher to create custom mounts, and the target dictionary is `"aedenthorn.CustomMounts/dict"`.

**Configuration example:**

```json
{
"Format": "2.7.0",
"Changes": [
{
"LogName": "Pinkie",
"SpawnOffset": {"X": 2, "Y": 3},
"Speed": 3,
"FrameWidth": 48,
Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
  1. Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
  2. Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
  3. Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
  4. Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
