About this mod Machine translation
Now, in combat, you can take incredible damage and injuries that require actual attention and time to repair.
You're an adventurer who's experienced dungeons, fought dragons, and been hit by just about every type of arsenal known to Skyrim. You can fight day and night for weeks, clearing out the dungeon as if you were packing groceries. Still, you haven't broken a finger and no bruises are visible on your body. This Mod solves this problem.
Every time you are hit by a physical weapon, a sword, a creature's claw, an arrow in the face, you have a chance of getting hurt. The type of damage you take depends on the type of weapon you were hit with. Your likelihood of taking damage depends on the base level of the armor you're wearing, as well as the base damage of the weapon attacking you, as well as some constants that can be changed in MCM. These injuries take a long time to heal, ranging from a minor concussion in a one-day game to a shattered femur in two months of play. Again, this is configurable in MCM. It is recommended that you use other immersion mods in the meantime, like the Eat and Sleep mods, and mods that can kill time like my other mod. Religion - prayer and meditation, or time flies by dfxyz 1, so you don't have to just use the waiting menu to heal.
Installing this mod is as easy as installing with NMM, and uninstalling simply requires you to uninstall the mod using MCM and then uninstall the mod using NMM. This module does require SKSE for the scripting functionality to work. SkyUI is not required but recommended for MCM.
The only compatibility issues may be minor list conflicts, as this mod adds a few items to general vendors and pharmacists. These items can also be obtained through crafting, so conflicting mods are loaded after this. Any and all weapons and creatures are supported, as well as any overhaul mods.
Updating to Version 3.0
This is a complete rewrite of the mod and requires a clean save to update.
All damage takes a lot of game time to heal, and many of them are debilitating. Some can prevent you from fighting, and some can even be fatal if left unchecked. How often you are injured, and how long it takes to heal, can be configured in this mod's MCM. Additionally, the current injury is only a positive and has no visual assets.
There are currently four types of injuries: cuts, broken bones, bruises and concussions. These injuries can apply to six areas on your body: head, torso, left leg, right leg, left arm, and right arm. Broken bones and bruises can apply to all six areas, cuts can apply to all areas except your head, and concussions can only apply to your head. All damage has varying levels of severity, with more severe damage having more debilitating effects and getting worse over time if you continue to get hit.
The damage you take depends on the weapon you were hit with, what armor you're wearing, and whether you're blocked. Bladed weapons, including tomahawks, can inflict cuts, but only if you are not blocking the attack and you are not wearing heavy armor on selected body areas. Heavy weapons; maca and two-handed weapons, causing bone breaking. If the cut is not done, it will result in bruising. Finally, all weapons can cause a concussion if you are hit in the head. Note that a creature can deal all of this damage if given the chance.
Currently the area you are hit in is randomized, but you can change the relative weight of each area being hit in MCM. Additionally, if you block the attack with your shield, you'll be hit in the left arm, and if you block with a weapon, your arm will be hit. All damage reduces your maximum stamina and machika, and each area has other unique disabilities. Arm damage reduces your weapon speed, leg damage reduces your movement speed, and torso and head damage reduce your maximum health, which is fatal.
Your likelihood of being injured depends on your base armor level, and the base damage of the weapon or creature that attacks you. The greater the differenc …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
