What's this?
=============================================
This mod is an update to the popular (but somewhat outdated) martial arts mod, The Monk's Way.
It adds an mcm interface for accessing many of the Monk mod's features, a few other minor improvements, and some minor bug fixes.
The first version of the Monk extension (WomX) was a standalone mod, this new version brings all the previous functionality into the core way of Monk esp.
Starting with version 1.6.7.1, these extensions have been rolled into the main way of Monk files.
background
=============================================
Monk's Way is a popular martial arts mode released in 2012. While it's very rich (and cool!) the original author wasn't able to fully realize his vision, or get changes to completely improve the mod.
Through posts on his blog and page, he offers to open source his mods to qualified authors, who will continue to work on them.
One of the main goals that was not implemented was the MCM interface (it was new at the time...) - as the message-based interface included in the original mod was a bit cumbersome and difficult to code (woverdude put a lot of work into it).
It was later ported to SE.
As a first step towards enhancing and updating the original Way of Monk mod, a separate mod containing MCM was developed, along with some updated features.
Once developed and tested, it was incorporated into the main way of Monk mod. The current version includes recent updates, as well as some minor bug fixes.
What exactly is it used for?
=============================================
This mod runs alongside Way of the Monk and adds several enhancements;
*Has MCM menu for purchasing perks and management options.
*Fix some incorrect extra requirements
*Fixed many perks not working properly
*Fixed how progress in non-assembly skills is affected by loadout order
*WOM's Option Perks use standard extra points with normal skills
*Options for unarmed skills to be flattened like normal skills and grant character XP like normal skills
- Option for Unarmored Skill to be flattened like a normal skill and grant character XP like a normal skill
- Skill upgrades and character level increases are announced with completion messages and standard game sounds
*Unarmed damage scale options and unarmed skills
- Armor bonus option for scaling with unarmored skills
*Support for legendary skills (two monk skills, and reactions to shared skill perks).
Most options have mouseover (thanks mcm) and there is an information option at the bottom of every page.

What are the requirements?
=============================================
The way of a monk (obviously)
SKSE64 (it does use some SKSE specific features).
SKYUI(MCM)
How should it be installed?
=============================================
Use your favorite mod manager, or drop the content into the skyrim directory. The original WayOfTheMonk is not required, as of the current version this is an integrated replacement.
How to upgrade from previous version?
=============================================
For best results, uninstall the old version and save the game. If you own a previous beta version of the standalone MCM extension, please delete it and create a clean save. Then install the new version, and load that save.
How to delete?

Mods can be removed from the game's load order. These scripts all use RegisterforSingleUpdate, so they should clear over time once the mod is rem …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
