This is a framework that allows users to easily create their own versions of Creatures Around Me - add mods! Tutorial included, no script required.
describe
The "Skyrim Mode" framework is designed to easily insert new creatures into Skyrim, along with the ability to select groups to spawn. MoD authors can follow the tutorial below to create their own mods using this system, with full MCM support. Please note that this will not be a required mod for SKSE - it just adds support for those who use MCM!

1.0 - How it works
Surrounding Skyrim is a simple "script injection" system. This means we've added a level list once the game starts, greatly increasing compatibility and removing any need for crash patches. The disadvantage of this system is that it is difficult to remove or change seeds that have been added - you will need to plan your pattern more than usual before publishing.
The basic process of the system is as follows...
The game begins.
Hidden queries run the script only once.
The script inserts custom horizontal lists into specified existing horizontal lists, "nesting" them.然后脚本终止。
A hidden placeholder 'spawner' Actor will be created when an inserted custom horizontal list is selected within an existing horizontal list.
This Actor runs a quick script to see if it should:
-产卵一
-孕育一群人
It then performs the action, terminating the script and disabling itself.
1.1-Understand the quest
Quest is used entirely to run the first script. The script has two properties - "CreatureSpawner" and "LeveledList".
"CreatureSpawner" is an invisible placeholder used to spawn creatures. You won't need to edit this unless you are an advanced user who plans to create additional mob spawners separately that we will use.
Level List Select the list of creatures you want your creature to appear next to.
1.2 - Understanding spawner actors
The spawner actor is used to check if it should spawn, one or a group of your creatures. This is an ability attached to the spawner via the "SpawnEffect" magic effect. This magic effect has two properties you will use - "Spawn" and "Spawn Selection".
A "spawn" is a level list containing any mob you want to appear.
"SpawnAlternate" is a mob that spawns when your custom mob chooses not to spawn. This should be the same as the "LeveledList" property in the Quest script, as it actually selects a different thing from the same list to generate.
1.3-了解全球
The system relies on some Globals or "global variables" to run its functionality. Their meanings and uses are listed below.
"Frequency": The percentage of times your creature is selected if the game chooses it to spawn. This is useful for configuring how 'rare' a creature is without worrying about clogging up your level list.
"FrequencyMulti": The percentage of a group your creature appears in if the game chooses it to spawn. This is used to configure how "rare" a group of creatures is without worrying about clogging up your level list.
"FrequencyMulti": The number of individuals in a population if they were selected for breeding with "FrequencyMulti". This is used to configure a 'pack' or 'tribe' size when they spawn together.
"Current Version": This is the current version number of your module. If you use the included update script framework mentioned at the end of this tutorial, d …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
