I really like the reduced health regeneration that a few different other mods I've tried offer, but they also do a lot of other things that I'm not so keen on. I had a quick look at mods that just reduced health regeneration, but couldn't see one that I liked, so I did that quickly.
It's quick and dirty, a little script that fires when you load the game or a save that changes the rate at which the player's health is regenerated to one-tenth, one-fifth, or half the normal rate, depending on the version being run.
No vanilla records were harmed while making this mod.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
