This is Oldrim Port Mode.

describe

Welcome to SkyVoice, a tool that lets you shout on your screen and see the results in-game!

See the compatibility section for keys that need to remain unbound.

Found the problem? Let me know! I'll try my best to do it if I can.

I just want to thank you again for this mod. It's such a great experience to use. I used to rarely use shouting, now I'm running around trying to get all the words. It made me think that I had to actually learn to shout, rather than just click some buttons and "know" them. Here is an interesting true story:

I was fighting a Dragon Priest, trying to yell at him. However, in my panic, I kept pronouncing the words wrong. My ass was thrown at me. I was out of mana and potions, desperate, and after making the mistake of yelling 20 times, I yelled, "Use the power of Gray Skull!" and I died quickly.

Even if I die, it's one of the best experiences I've ever had in this game. So, thank you.

Change log

1.3

Added Thunder support. Thunder shouts are all prefixed with the dova word AAV, so you need to shout for thunder: "aavfus" - "aavfus Klo" - level two "aavfus - Klu"

1.2

Changed the key again. My previous key selection was not a good idea due to how windows macros handle the AZERTY keyboard. Use function keys instead, but now they are F7 F8 F10 F11. Note: You must completely save the new key to register correctly. Many thanks to those users who submitted bugs and helped resolve the issues! Hope this version suits you better

Also fixed mcm display bug, option changes should persist and display correctly.

1.1

Removed another old way of speech referencing, shouldn't cause any problems, just in case

1.0 - Finally, no more betas

Changed the keys mods use now; this resolves conflicts with other mods (notably ENBoost) and occasionally auto-shuts down whoever is running (holding Alt) and using Shout with F4 in them. (alt-f4 closes the top window, serious confusion)

Change the names of all scripts and mod files to SkyVoice. I've been debating this for a while, but weirdly named files in folders are just so annoying. I hope to find the optional files soon. Apologize to the boss maintenance staff and hope it won't be too much trouble.

Only add equipment options

Update MCM to new SkyUI version (no functionality changes here, but it does require some scripting changes)

If you bounce your shout key to something other than z and use a game mat (I don't have a game mat so if this doesn't work for you please report it)

Falskaar support has been added (not tested at this time), the macro files may need some tweaking, but the code is now in the script, please let me know if this works for Falskaar users.

Beta 5

Added Sky UI MCM support, currently there are only two options - turn off shout notifications and disable voice power re-arming.

Changed the way the mode loads, now loading all required call information every time the game is saved. This requires a clean save when upgrading from a previous version. New installations should be good to go just add.

Using the Beta 5 main file and macro files, we should be ready! have fun!

BETA4.1 script

Rebinding the shout keys in the game should now work properly (even with an Xbox controller, as long as you use the controller attached)

Should be less prone to being left in the dark and lacking the correct shout commands. NOTE: In testing, this still happens sometimes, but it's less common now.

Dawnguard support is now built into a file. No mor …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
