After five years of updating and adding new tools to the program, we also can't forget to mention all the sleepless nights trying to find bugs that are always disappearing. ;)) In this version they have many new features and upgrades to make it the best Papyrus script editor.

Skyrim Script Compiler Pro Final

describe:

The Skyrim Script Editor is a tool that replaces the Creation Kit's default script editor. It provides the same functionality plus many others - the same as other script editors such as Sublime Papyrus, and many are specific to SSE. (You may find a list of all included features below.) SSE is my way of giving back to the wonderful modding community.

This is a tool strictly for Skyrim modders, not mod users. If you don't understand it or the code used, then this tool is not for you. It is used for the practice of Skyrim scripting.

After five years of updating and adding new tools to the program, we also can’t forget to mention all the sleepless nights trying to find bugs that always disappear. ;)) In this version they have many new features and upgrades to make it the best Papyrus script editor.

What's new in this version is a rethink of the kernel, and I think I've ironed out most of the bugs. It is now compatible with Skyrim VR, I don't think have tried it yet, will wait to hear back from users. The settings are also easier to use, and it's almost impossible to recreate an application just for that setting. Added a feature that will help me find bugs more, I get an average of one bug report every other month. So it's hard for me to figure out if it's the client or me that's causing the error, there's now a checkbox checked by default to send me a silent report of important errors which makes a big difference. New features are automatic settings backup, saving settings and restoring settings.

Hope you like it :)

Future plans:

No! :) I can't say that, it will be seen in pull requests and bug reports, it will continue for the next five years.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
