What is Omega?
In YASH, EnaiRim, Requeim and beyond... OMEGA is designed to provide the best and most comprehensive gaming transformation for SSE. OMEGA is the starting point for any mod build, and at its core turns Skyrim into a challenging, difficult and balanced experience.
OMEGA combines multiple mods into one to save ESP while eliminating conflicts. It is modular and provides multiple compatibility patches so that you can choose which mods to use.
This page is currently WIP as I prepare the v2.0+ version.
What is the TLDR version of OMEGA?
The “short version” of everything I suck at…
Omega's original design was to take SR's incredibly impressive encounter zone design, add a difficulty multiplier to spawn higher level monsters and turn all of that into MLU, which is the best loot modification I've ever seen, and a recommended weapon AF change. However, the result expanded and grew into All In One Mod, becoming the cornerstone of SSE's best modular gaming overhaul.
Before we delve into the specifics, however, it's important to understand that OMEGA's basic goal is to make combat fun and entertaining. As I entered my 30s or 40s, I got sick from jumping back into a new character because the game had become too easy. Omega includes multiple combat models, a complete enemy overhaul model, dragon overhaul models, and many game mechanics overhauls. Omega is not a Loot and EZ mod with a guide. Omega is the SSE overhaul you didn't know you were waiting for.
In addition to everything else, OMEGA is also a Mod Framework. Unlike extensive guides like Nordic Skyrim or Lexy's LOTD, I wanted to offer something smaller but equally useful. However, offering a modular gameplay overhaul while also offering AIO Mods might pull my design goals in the opposite direction.
To address the potential flaws in my design, I decided on a course of action based on 4 core principles:
Provides a strict Mod Framework that allows users to customize options for exchanging mods.
Offering a core set of mods/patches in AIO Mod format, a must-have for any user.
A patch is provided due to an incompatibility.
Offering end users multiple ways to get the full OMEGA experience.
Sorry, but Omega, MLU and SR are not for me...
I still have your family!
Mod Framework is Solid and requires absolutely no OMEGA, MLU or SR. It provides appropriate load order and MCM suggestions. You can ignore MLU and SR entirely and still end up getting a lot from OMEGA. Additionally, there are several Mods and Patches here that don't require OMEGA, MLU or SR at all.
Omega provides the following services:
New OMEGA MorrowLoot Ultimate AIO Mod and New OMEGA Skyrim Mod Battle Light and Encounter Zone AIO Mod
2 new MLU patches, up to 13 patches in just one esp
OMEGA MLU and OMEGA SR 100% compatible with all MLU and SR patches
Fully integrated WACCF and weapon AF design, 100% compatible
Over 30+ new mods and patches
4 Skyrim Uncapper INI's
A mod framework of over 40 modules for a balanced Skyrim experience
Reduce the total ESP required by the user
Non-OMEGA patches, providing patch support for users who do not want to use OMEGA
Many mods and general game quality of life improvements
Many inconsistencies and missing values for MLU have been resolved
4 New Skyrim Uncapper INI's
and includes more improvements, tweaks and tweaks
What does each mod actually do?
It’s time to show off your wares!
As you read further, you'll see sections like this that have their own spoiler tags underneath them. This is to save huge web space and make everything easier to find. But rather than wander further let’s jump right into it? As they say, the proof is in the pudding. Not sure why they put it in the pudding, but because they did it's time to open the first spoiler on this page.

Surprise or toy? !!
When I came up with a new design concept for Omega, the old stuff had to go. This certainly adds room for new things! For those of you familiar with my old "Lite", …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
