simple racial diversity
The goal of Simple Racial Diversity is to create a simple mod that removes the rarely used daily power and instead changes the starting attribute value and its regeneration rate to passively create a similar effect that is less powerful but exists for more than a minute per day.
Require:
Skyrim SE
I created new race descriptions based on lore (and some game books) and excluded references to deleted daily powers. Each match starts with 300 attribute points, and the regeneration rate totals 8.5 (I set the base health regeneration from 0.7 to 0.5 for better balance). I changed the regeneration rate of the match much more than any other mod I've seen in order to create a different feel for each race based on race.
This will give your starting race a more profound impact on their specialization. I thought it would be nice to role play
perspective. To keep your roleplaying going, you can have a rough idea of what your character will be good at based on their starting attributes. Higher values may regenerate more quickly, while lower values may regenerate less (health regeneration will not be reduced below 0.5 even if starting health is below 100).

Spoilers: Show
Since I haven't had any luck with CK, this race mod was created entirely by xEdit. I created it starting from a copy of a playable SSE match,
Vampire Contest, then I kept the USSEP changes and removed the daily powers. Therefore, I'm unlikely to add new features.
I've been enjoying mods for years and now I find myself creating mods that are different from the mods I should be sharing.
compatibility:
This mod affects the playable races and inherits USSEP's editorial content, but I'm tired of leaving all the other content untouched. Therefore, it should have the same compatibility and conflicts as other race mods.
If a vampire mod changes the player's vampire race, this mod's changes may be overwritten if loaded later. Most vampire mods don't need to do this unless they change the appearance. If so, load them before this mod to keep the changes to vampires.
Optional files:
Expanding Namira's Blessing I've added this file as an edit for Namira's ring spell to extend the duration of the effect to 10 game hours (30 minutes of real-time wait/sleep time will be reduced like other effects). This allows the character to wear the ring throughout the day and play cannibal wood elf or beast racing, but only have to eat a few times a day instead of every 5 minutes (in real time). I recommend using Artificer (listed below) for health penalties when hungry. If you use this, or use other mods that modify Namira's Blessing bonus, you'll get an extended duration.
Recommended modules:

I've kept the race changes for compatibility. USSEP should usually be the first mod you install.

Much better than vanilla night vision.

The Cannibal option allows you to better adapt Beast Race or Bosmer to the vast majority of lore.

Lower the level of artifacts and give them abilities worth acquiring. If you want to play as a man-eating forest elf or be …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
