About this mod Machine translation
Show your character's idle mood or just strike a pose! Allows you to use DAR to cycle animations and poses across different packages as your default idle. No animations or poses are included, download your favorite animations or poses separately and use the provided bat file to generate your configuration. Now with menu and NPC support! No ESP or save bloat.
Frontend: Dynamic Animation Replacer
Allows you to set keys to cycle between different animations or poses and different animation or pose packs, select an animation pack via the menu, and apply the selected animation as the default idle for the player or any NPC using the DAR. A .bat file is provided to generate DAR conditions for all provided animations - there are no animations in this mod, you will have to download your favorite animation or styling pack. No ESP needed, no save bloat, install and uninstall in no time!

Start game
This will generate two DAR animation files for each animation/pose you have, so please be aware of DAR limitations if you use a lot of pose packages. Package names are set based on their folder names, and animation names are set based on their file names, which are arranged alphabetically (meaning, for example, anim10.hkx will appear before anim9.hkx).

Use it in game:
"Next Clip" (default: right arrow) key advances to the next animation in the current package
Previous Clip (default: left arrow) key returns to the previous animation in the current package
The "next package" (default: up arrow) key advances to the next configured package (the last one is a favorite)
"Previous pack" (default: down arrow) key returns to the previously configured pack
Press and hold the "Next Clip" key to add or remove the current animation from the favorites list
Press and hold the Previous Clip key to return to the first animation in the animation package
Press and hold the "previous pack" key to return to the first configured pack
"Open Menu" (Default: Page Up): Opens a list menu where you can select packages and animations
"Apply to NPC" (default: page down): Apply the currently selected animation to the NPC under the cross cursor (Note: the NPC will initially play a new idle, but will then revert to the AI-determined state - the animation will only appear normally if the NPC plays the default idle. To reset the NPC to the default idle, select Default Idle as the current clip and apply it to the NPC)
Notification messages will appear indicating your selected packs and animations, as well as favorite messages (they will disappear slowly, so you may get a queue). DAR will play your currently selected pose as your regular and stealth idle, so you can still move around and play as normal, but the selected animation will play while you stand doing nothing. To return to regular idle, loop back to the first animation in the pack (always your standard idle), reset the pack or animation, or select the "Default Idle" option in the menu.
"Favorites" packs are automatically generated from the animations you set as favorites and placed at the end of the pack list, where you can cycle through just your favorite options. This list is saved to a config file and should be available the next time you open the game or on a different save, and as long as you don't regenerate your package …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
