About this mod Machine translation
The Soup Wok Chinese version of Ranaline's RS Children Overhaul module needs to be matched with the RS Children Overhaul module body and Soup Wok Chinese version 1.1.2.
Chinese content:
The Chinese translation of the text entries from the original game has been copied intact from the Tang Wok Chinese translation package. The "Child's Skaal" series of clothing added by the MOD are uniformly translated as Skaal Children XX (XX here is the clothing name of the original game such as shoes, hats, etc., all translated according to the Chinese version of Tangwo)
File type description:
There are currently three downloadable files, namely:
File 1: RSChildrenSE-Core-CHS This file is the Chinese patch of the core esm file of the MOD. Everyone needs to download and install this file!
File 2: RSChildrenSE-Non Playable-CHS This file is a version that cannot control children, only contains NPC beautification, and does not require USSEP. This version is only for use by people who do not have USSEP installed.
File 3: RSChildrenSE-Non Playable-USSEP-CHS This file is a version that cannot control children, only contains NPC beautification, and requires USSEP. This version is for people who have USSEP installed.
Installation method:
Mod manager installation method: Install the MOD body first. Then use the MOD manager to install the downloaded Chinese patch compressed package. File conflicts will be displayed later. At this time, the Chinese patch must be loaded after the MOD body.
Manual installation method: Install the MOD body first. Then unzip the downloaded Chinese patch compressed package into the game's Data folder.
Note:
The playable version and MOD-related compatibility patches have not been finalized yet.
The file I just uploaded at the beginning is wrong, so I won't be able to enter the game. It has now been changed.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
