About this mod Machine translation

A UPF-based patch that makes armor, weapons, ammo, and potion additions compatible with the T3nd0 Skyrim rework.

summary

This is a port of T3nd0's ReProccer - the automatic SkyRe patch generator - to ZEdit's unified patching framework. This ported patch does all that the original ReProccer did, making armor, weapons, ammo and potions compatible with T3nd0's skyrim rework.

The reason both vanilla Reproccer and this port exist is to alleviate the need for handcrafted compatibility patches for armor, weapons, ammo, and potions. Reproccer also allows users to quickly adjust how weapons and armor are balanced by editing rules.

what it does

  • Adjust weapon stats based on material and weapon type

  • Added additional material requirements to tempering recipes

-Make the effects of ingredients and potions work over time

  • Optionally normalize extreme values of repair materials

technical

The original Reproccer was developed with SkyProc, a Java framework for creating dynamic patches. Leviathan 1753 February 2012 to October 2013. While there are some ways to use SkyProc with SSE, it is often buggy, unstable, and produces patches that may cause problems due to different record definition formats. While this may change as developers work on SkyProc, official support from the original developers ended a few years ago. This makes it desirable to automate patching using different technical solutions such as Reproccer.

Enter zEdit’s Unified Patching Framework (UPF). UPF is a JavaScript framework built on top of zEdit to provide an improved front-end and API for applications. xEdit code base. Reprocer ReBorn is built on UPF and has proven that this framework can support the largest and most complex SkyProc patches.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
