Is this your MOD?
A mod is considered a constructor, a builder of [your own reality] that you name, rather than as a predefined preset for your game. Because there are many things that may change the balance of the game, this mod follows the next rules:
Some say the smallest flutter of a butterfly's wings can eventually cause typhoons around the world.
- Chaos theory
This mod enables you to control the regeneration rate in most situations in the game. However, there is still much work to be done.
If you like to play with your own rules, then this mod is for you.
If you're looking for a bold balance mod, you have to look at some overhauls, mostly because they cover more than just regeneration rates.
What MOD does
The mod is based on modifying the next actor values according to the situation: HealRate, MagickaRate and StaminaRate.
Additionally, it handles the next values in combat mode: CombatHealthRegenMult, fCombatMagickaRegenRateMult and fCombatStaminaRegenRateMult.
Note: If you don't know the above, please read the HOWTO file included with the pattern for details.
Additionally, the mode is observing what you are doing and with what effect, for example: sitting, running, sprinting, sneaking, fighting, positive effects of regeneration potions, food; controlling the speed of sleep, waiting; changing actor values when the PC is in werewolf state.
and more.
compatibility
This mod is designed to be compatible with everything.
You have to enable or disable the option and see if your mod works properly with true regeneration.
This mod modifies player variables (via ForceAv and MagicEffects):
HealRate
MagickaRate
StaminaRate
Additionally, it may modify such variables based on player decisions:
CombatHealthRegenMult
fCombatMagickaRegenRateMult
fCombatStaminaRegenRateMult
Modify Magic Effects to fix bugs related to regeneration rate:
No power of effort
within the fire
Restore Stamina [FoodRestoreStaminaDuration]
Restoration Magic [FoodRestoreMagickaDuration]
Sinderion's unexpected discovery [NN01PerkEffect]
The mod does not change any NPC values.
The mod does not change any racial values.
The mod does not change any variables for potions, food, etc.
If you are conflicting with some mods and you don't know what to do, just leave the option to DISABLED inside MCM for realistic regeneration.
Load order
It's best to save the RealisticRegeneration.esp file at the bottom of the load list, as magic effects will change in the vanilla game. See details in the Compatibility section above.
question
Question #1
When you wake up after sleeping, you may notice that after a few seconds your health (magicka, stamina) has increased (decreased) to a higher (lower) value.
answer:
All is well and as expected.
Question #2
The effects of fatigue and fast travel can cause some strange results.
When you perform the next step, your properties Magicka or Stamina (as you defined in the options) may be reduced.
Let's take an example of the Stamina fatigue effect at runtime. Steps to reproduce the error (not always, but often):
You are running.
At this point you open the map and fast travel.
After reaching your destination, you will see that Stamina has been reduced.
I currently don't know how to solve this problem.
untie:
Stop before opening the map, this will stop the fatigue effect.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
