The Phenderix Skyrim In-Game Editor ("SIGE") allows users to make edits to weapons, armor, spells, NPCs and even in-game players. Typically, to make these changes, you have to use a set of console commands or use the Creation Kit to make a patch or new mod. This is no longer the case, you can edit content in-game without leaving your Skyrim instance.

This mod requires SKSE - not all features of SIGE will work properly without it.

The only drawback is that weapon, armor and spell editing is temporary. Changes you make using the new in-game editor will persist until you exit the Skyrim game. After reloading the Skyrim game these values will be reset to their default/initial values. Note: "Death" does not reset these values, and changes you make will remain throughout your playthrough until you close the Skyrim game.

Changes to NPCs and players are permanent. These values do not reset or revert to their default/initial values when reloading the Skyrim game.

Upon starting the game, the player will automatically have the following spells added to their spell list:

SIGE - Edit Weapons

SIGE-edit armor

SIGE-Edit Spell

SIGE - Edit NPCs

SIGE-Edit Player

SIGE lets you change all weapons! (those elements added in vanilla Skyrim, DLC and mods)

View and edit the following weapon stats/properties!

Damage (how much damage this weapon does to the target)

Reach (how far the weapon reaches when swinging)

Weight (how much this item will weigh in the character's inventory)

Gold value (how much this item is sold for - actual amount will vary based on vendor and perks)

Manipulate and enchant weapons!

fire damage

frost damage

Electric shock damage

soul absorption

remove enchantment

As an example of a feature, if you edit an Iron Sword, the edit will be for all Iron Swords in the game - not just yours.

Edits to weapons are temporary and only last until you leave Skyrim. Coloring does not cause values to reset. This is a limitation of the Skyrim engine. If anyone knows of a way to make these changes permanent please let me know because I haven't been able to figure it out!

SIGE lets you change all your armor! (those elements added in vanilla Skyrim, DLC and mods)

View and edit the following armor, clothing and jewelry stats/attributes!

Armor level (how much armor this item provides)

Weight level (armor/clothing light or heavy)

Weight (how much this item will weigh in the character's inventory)

Gold value (how much this item is sold for - actual amount will vary based on vendor and perks)

A neat feature is that with SIGE you can classify jewelry (talismans, necklaces, rings) as light or heavy armor. (None of them by default)

As an example of a feature, if you edit an Iron Shield, the edits will be for all Iron Shields in the game, not just yours.

Edits to armor are temporary and only last until you close Skyrim. Coloring does not cause values to reset. This is a limitation of the Skyrim engine. If anyone knows of a way to make these changes permanent please let me know because I haven't been able to figure it out!

SIGE lets you change all your spells! (those elements added in vanilla Skyrim, DLC and mods)

View and edit the magical effects of your spells!

Magnitude (damage, healing, etc. - depends on spell type)

Duration (how long the magic effect lasts)

Area (Will this effect be applied to areas? If so, this is the size of the area.)

By using SIGE, you will be able to see all the magic effects a spell utilizes, and then be able to manipulate each of these effects.

Editing of spells is temporary and only lasts until you close Skyrim. Coloring does not cause values to reset. This is a limitation of the Skyrim engine. If anyone knows of a way to make these changes permanent please let me know because I haven't been able to figure it out!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
