About this mod Machine translation
Another solution to disabling fast travel. Includes an MCM where you can toggle fast travel and even lock its status. A lite version is also available.
A scriptable (but super lightweight) solution to disabling fast travel must be compatible with any mod and not limited to original world space.
When you click on a map marker that disables fast travel, it also removes a loading screen and message about the fast travel functionality.
There are two versions.
The default version includes an MCM with two options: "Allow fast travel" (disabled by default) and "Block fast travel status" (only when fast travel is disabled). The second option hides all MCM options (if you know how to remove MCM completely, please tell me how), making it impossible for you to enable fast travel. It's located a little further away from the first option so you can't accidentally click it, but if you click it you have the option of setting the global variable SimplyNoFastTravel_FastTravelLocked to 0.
The Lite version does not include MCM, and the only way to enable fast travel is to set the global variable SimplyNoFastTravel_FastTravelEnabled to 1. This variable can be edited for both versions to change the default fast travel status.
You need to reload the game (F5-F9) to actually change the fast travel status.

Available in two versions.
The default version includes an MCM with two options: Allow Fast Travel (disabled by default) and Block Fast Travel State (only if fast travel disabled). The second option hides all the MCM options (if you know how to completely remove MCM, let me know how), leaving you without the ability to enable fast travel. It is located a little further away from the first option so that you don't click it accidentally, but if you did, you have the option to set the global variable SimplyNoFastTravel_FastTravelLocked to 0.
The Lite version doesn't include the MCM, and the only way to enable fast travel is to set the global variable SimplyNoFastTravel_FastTravelEnabled to 1. This variable can be edited for both versions to change the default fast travel state.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
