This mod patches the armor from NordwarUA's New Legion mod, making it compatible with Requiem v 3.4.0. Every piece or piece of armor and every weapon of this mod has been carefully compared to the corresponding Requiem and adjusted accordingly.

The new Penitus Oculatus armor added to the new legion is classified as heavy armor; not light armor. To maintain the integrity of the new legion, keep the armor heavy and adjust accordingly using the appropriate keywords.

If these armors are combined with the armor from the Defender Armor Overhaul, they can be a complete replacement for all of Skyrim's Defenders, Stormcloaks, and Imperials.

Substitute

The default armor has been replaced with the model provided in "New Legion". The Imperial Plate Breastplate was replaced by Imperial Chain Mail. Since the mod changes the model, all NPCs that once wore Legion armor (including bandits) should have the new armor.

Other clothing

General Tullius - Wears a new Legion outfit adapted to the gameplay of Requiem.

Horik Halfhand - Now actually wearing "old Legion armor".

Weapons

All weapons added by the mod have been modified to compare with their counterparts in Requiem.

I still think there's some more work to be done on this. But I've been testing it for a week now with no crashes and all applicable NPCs are dressed correctly. I'm sure there will be some other updates as I continue to play the game.

Install

Install into the Skyrim\Data folder using your favorite Mod Manager. This patch should be installed after Requiem. I recommend the following installation steps

Step 1: Download the "New Legion" master file. Install this file using the Mod Manager of your choice.

Step 2: Download the required "New Legion" textures. HD or medium. All my images are medium textured.

Step 3: Place DIS_Heavy_Legion.esp above Requiem.esp in your loading order.

Step 4: Download and install this patch under Requiem.esp. It must be installed below any other Requiem patches that modify weapons, armor, etc. Taking the popular patch as an example, this patch should be installed below all patches for the mod's improved closed helmet.

Step 5: Check your load order in SSEdit and note any conflicts. If necessary, lower Requiem_New_Legion.esp.

Step 6: Run Reqtificator and place Requiem_for_the_Indifferent.esp at the end of the load order. Activate it.

Step 7 (optional): Check the load order in SSEdit again to make sure the patches maintain their values. You may only need to do this the first time you install a patch so you can understand what it does.
