About this mod Machine translation
A mode that expands Markarth City to its maximum potential.
I'm not happy with the fact that Markarth doesn't have a true expansion model. Well, I feel like all the cities in this game are too small, but it seems like Markarth gets the least attention. So this might be the first mode to really expand Markarth.
It took me a long time to get to this point, but now, it's in it's glory. Introducing Markarth, or as I now call it...

compatibility
-------------------
This mod only edits the upper levels of the city, which I doubt any other mod has ever touched. Therefore most Markarth mods should be compatible.
JK Markarth and Markarth's Dawn are included and are compatible. Use them with my mod for the best of both worlds.
describe
--------------------
I always envisioned Markarth as a city built on top. Since I couldn't find enough space in the city, I had to resort to doing this instead of the usual approach. The mountains surrounding the city make this highly desirable. There are several new houses built on the hill, same as Vanilla. This is accompanied by a host of new dwarven structures, pipes, and platforms, all of which are nicely hidden in the nearby cliffs and hillsides. The result is a city that looks more epic than ever, reaching almost three times its height. I've tried not to overdo it with extra stuff for the sake of performance, but the new additions are a balanced and reasonable amount. Don't stray too far from other vanilla cities either.
This mod is mainly for aesthetic purposes. Allowing players to look up at the city and be amazed by its sheer size ultimately makes Markarth truly the city it should be. That's all I needed to give the impression of a larger city than before.
There are no scripts used in this mod and the vanilla part of the city is completely unaffected, so don't worry about anything; installation and removal is completely safe, just don't do it outside the city.
The mod has been cleaned using TESVEDIT so there shouldn't be any dirty records left.

FAQ
-----------------------
Will there be any impact on performance?
Maybe, but it should be minimal or maybe not at all. It may vary slightly depending on the settings and texture modes you're involved with.
But in general, other structures/buildings don't affect performance as much as most people think
Some houses are so high, how do they get there?
I tried my best to make all the buildings logical. Most houses are connected to each other via towers, dwemer lifts, or simple walkways, so everyone has a way to get there.
What's the difference between this and JK's Markarth/Markn?
These are urban enhancement modes, which are a city expansion mode. Adding not just some clutter, but mainly houses, new areas, and adding more depth to the city to make it bigger.

This mod is only based on the appearance version of Sky City, maintaining two versions would be too cumbersome.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
