About this mod Machine translation
This mod overhauls bandits by modifying their gear, attributes, and perks. Bandits will now play by the same rules as players.
EDIT: I've updated the mod to version 1.1, which should resolve some balance issues regarding mid-level bandits. Bandits now also have adequate magic resistance. If you have downloaded a previous version, please update.
What is the goal of this mod?
The goal of this mod is to allow gangsters and players to play by the same rules while also adding a reasonable amount of challenge. This is done by giving the bandits appropriate perks and appropriate equipment. Why don't bandits and players follow the same rules in vanilla Skyrim?
Let's look at the worst criminals - bandit predators. At level 25, the Marauder has 490 health and 250 stamina. Player characters must reach level 65 to reach these stats.
Now, of course there is a reason for this. Most bandits in Skyrim only wear a few pieces of leather armor, so basically no armor
score. Instead, the player character gains most of its effective hit points from armor class. However, there is a problem with this balance. For example, it's not immersive to see a barely clothed bandit tank so many hits. This overhaul addresses this issue by giving bandits appropriate equipment, attributes, and perks.
How does this mod affect gameplay?
Bandits' attributes and perks have been completely rebalanced. Bandits' strength now increases more steadily across levels, and low-level bandits will now pose a sufficient challenge. Higher level bandits will gain most of their effective hit points from their armor class. This also means that maces and crossbows will be more useful because they penetrate armor. Their combat behavior has also been overhauled.
This mod balances the proficiency difficulty and makes even the weakest bandits challenging at first level if the encounter number is greater than one. However, bandits will not be an endgame enemy. I wanted Bandits to be more believable and immersive, and it just doesn't make sense for Bandits to have ultimate difficulty.
What about their equipment?
Bandit gear has been completely overhauled. Bandits will generally wear armor in each slot, and the quality of their gear will gradually increase based on their level. This means that high-level gangsters are visually differentiated from lower-level gangsters.
Having said that, the goal of this mod is to be immersive. No robber would possess truly superior equipment such as ebony or glass. The best armor they can be seen wearing is steel plate, very few orcs.
Compatibility
This mod is fully compatible with perks and combat overhauls. The real incompatibility should be other bandit overhauls (OBIS, etc.).
Mods that edit level lists now don't work for bandits as they now use different mods. I created a patch for my recommended "normal clothes and armor/chestplate".
Recommended Mods
I highly recommend using a mod to make yourself immune to killing moves. For example, Violens. Skyrim's killing moves are broken, and if you don't do this, you'll die some unfair death.

Let's take a look at the worst offender- the bandit marauder. Marauders have about 490 health and 250 stamina while being level 25. A player character would have to be level 65 to reach these kind of stats.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
