First appearing in TES 1: Arena, Homonculus are strange red creatures that resemble the delicate-looking Imp, they are flying chimeras created by high level alchemists who combined the properties of certain spells with various mortal creatures and certain parts of the daedra to create the creature in magical ways. The process is more similar to other chimera creation than to the atronach and golem creation methods. Alchemists use different methods than magicians, so despite being composed of other creatures' organs, flesh, blood, etc., it's not done together in a grotesque way. Alchemists use their arcane methods to fuse all organically intact bodies, producing more natural creatures than conventional methods of creating golems, atronachs, and other abominations.
These creatures were created to serve their masters and are often used to guide areas, using their ability to fly patrol corridors in search of intruders. They are not exactly daedra in origin, but since they have some daedric organs on their bodies, they are affected by damage-daedra spells.
When you kill one, you can see some of the ingredients used to create it (which seems to include human flesh), and you'll find that they basically guard the warlock's lair and some secret crypts.
Larger than an imp, they can be considered mid-level enemies, using fireballs, projecting floating rune traps and using mid-level lvl protection wards, in combat.
Homonculus is always alone, so you'll never find more than 1 in each location.

First appeared on TES 1: Arena, Homonculus are strange red beings that resemble a delvish looking Imp, they are flying chimeras created by high level Alchemists, who combine somehow the properties of certain spells with parts of various mortal creatures and daedra, to magically create this creature. The process is much more similar to the creation of other chimeras instead of resemble the atronach and golem creation methods. Alchemists work with different methods than the Conjurers, so, despite being made of organs, flesh, blood, etc., of other beings, this are not rustically stitched together in a grotesque way. Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
