About this mod Machine translation
This mod is a set of replacement meshes and textures that make all or part of the following objects in the game glow: Levers, Buttons, Pullers and Zippers Porches and Trapdoors Coin Purses and Honey Pots Puzzles and Secrets Traps
This mod changes some in-game objects to glow to make them easier to observe and see. It does this by replacing some meshes and textures.
describe:
Some things in Skyrim are meant to be hard to notice. It's part of the challenge of the game, I get it. "LRazor's Glowing Objects" can be said to be a collection of spoilers, so if you like solving puzzles and finding hidden or concealed objects, LRGO is not for you. However, if your vision isn't as good as my ideal, these activities may greatly affect one's enjoyment of the game rather than make it better. This mod attempts to reduce or eliminate this particular challenge that works against us.
Short Story: This mod is a set of replacement meshes and textures that make all or part of the following in game objects glow:
Levers, buttons, levers and zippers
Porches and trapdoors
Coin Purse and Honeypot
puzzles and secrets
trap
You can download and install the individual modules individually in any order or combination and they will work. Alternatively, you can save yourself some trouble and use an "all-in-one" (AIO) file.
Long story:
I'd like to preface this by saying that although I was inspired by (and learned a lot from) the other mods mentioned, I didn't use any of their assets in this mod. This mod consists entirely of vanilla meshes and textures that I modified myself.
There's an excellent (literally!) mod for Skyrim LE called No More Chain Torture by ProtologolusX/Luvonir, which makes ziplock chains glow, making them easier to see. I consider this an essential mod when playing Skyrim LE. Although the mod author generously released this mod for use by other mod authors, I can't find a Skyrim SE conversion for it.
So I'm sad.
I did find another really great mod, Corsafire's Loot Vision, and I thought, "This is what I need!" However, while it made a lot of things shine, it didn't make the drag chain shine.
So I'm sad again.
But then I noticed that Corsafire released a way to make objects glow and was very generous with the permissions for mods. It looked like something I could accomplish pretty easily, so I decided to try recreating the No More Chain Torture.
I succeeded. Arguably too successful because it made me ask that dangerous little question: “What if?”
I realized I didn't have to stop at the tow chain. I can make every lever, button and lever light up. So I did the same. But when doing this
I further realized that I could make the trap glow. So I went too. While doing this, I stumbled across the puzzle grid and thought, "Can I also make the puzzle glow and make it easier to solve?"
Well, yes and no. It turns out that in order to make certain puzzle solutions obvious, I can't just make the grid glow. I also need to change the texture. So I was looking for a way to make a texture fully or partially glowy and I found this easy to follow tutorial: How to Make a Glow Map
Look who it is: ProtologolusX/Luvonir! Therefore, I once again express my gratitude to the author of this mod.
If you use and like this mod, although there is always an endorsement, please also download and endorse these mods from other authors, because without them this mod would not exist:

Install, uninstall and upgrade:
I highly recommend using a Mod Manager (such as Vortex). This mod contains many scattered files. So while manually installing or upgrading is easy, uninstalling is definitely not. If you insist on managing this mod manually, you'll need to be familiar with managing files and folders, and familiar with using an archive extraction program (such as 7-zip):
Manual installation:
- Download the f …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
