Far Reach Keep(VR)
An immersive game for Dragonborn players. Far Reach Keep is a retcon of the original mod I released five years ago. It has everything an adventurer needs at home, is very user-friendly, works well in Skyrim VR, and has excellent frame rates.

This is my personal gamer tweak that works in Skyrim VR. I have to say having created this model five years ago, wandering around in VR is a fantastic experience, the sense of scale is amazing and I still absolutely love it as a player's home.
feature
Large open three level interior.
Bailey.
concierge.
Rooftop crafts and gardens offer stunning views.
Legally friendly as the building and location are non-intrusive and appropriate to the environment.
Trophy represents various trophies in the game.
There are plenty of mannequins and weapons on display to show off the loot, probably more than you need.
A huge library of all the books you have collected.
Alchemy and Enchanting Station.
Specialized personnel include bards, steady hands, and trainers (WIP).
Dragownsworn Guards (could be a central theme in future missions).
A little stable.
The location, on top of a high hill west of Whiterun, you can't miss it.
This player's home doesn't have tons of free loot, chests, manequins, weapon racks, and bookcases are all empty and ready to be filled with player loot.
Install
I recommend you use NMM. If you haven't already, download and install Mod Manager.
Next, follow the instructions to install the mod in Skyrim VR. Bethesda doesn't currently support this, but the internet has found a way. There are several excellent resources online, but I found this to be the easiest to use
After setting up NMM to use Skyrim VR, download and install the mod and enable it in the normal way.
In order to ensure that the Dragonsworn NPCs in Keep are textured correctly, you must copy some files from your Skyrim SE installation to your Skyrim VR installation.
Step 1. Find the FRK.esp folder in [SteamLibrary]\SteamApps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\Meshes\Actors\Character\FaceGenData\FaceGeom and copy it to [SteamLibrary]\SteamApps\common\SkyrimVR\Data\Meshes\Actors\Characters\FaceGenData\FaceGeom
Step 2. Find the FRK.esp folder in [SteamLibrary]\SteamApps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\Textures\Actors\Character\FaceGenData\FaceGeom and copy it to [SteamLibrary]\SteamApps\common\SkyrimVR\Data\textures\Actors\Characters\FaceGenData\FaceGeom
future updates
If I don't have too many issues with the Creation Kit, I'd like to enhance the mod with the following updates.
Expands the number of songs Maluka the Bard can sing for you.
Add some fun law-friendly missions to improve Far Reach Keep as a player immersion and historical context.
Expand the mod to include the dungeon (probably part of the first quest).
Added display of special artifacts.
The original mod is here:
If anyone is interested.
Please note that I no longer have email access to my original account (nobrot), so I will not be able to comment and reply to the original version, so please use this version and post comments, requests, and bugs here.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
