summary
When using EBD, each NPC gains more personality through variety. This means that everyone is different and everyone is different.
Everyone's different rework is my patch is different for everyone. Redone logo version upgraded to version 3.00. While the patch isn't a rework from the ground up, many parts have been rewritten, and many new features have been added. I think this is grounds for re-release. For simplicity's sake, from now on I'll still refer to it as Everyone's Different or EBD.
This mode is a Skyrim patch designed to diversify NPCs throughout Skyrim. Skyproc patch means it is a Java program that is run once after downloading the patch. You can change settings in the convenient user interface. The patcher should be re-run every time you add/remove NPCs, add/change mods. The patch will work with any load order and work with mod additions and vanilla NPCs.
EBD offers several options for making NPCs more interesting. Most of them require no work from the user (you!) and all are optional (i.e. can be turned off/on at any time).
Note that while all variety is randomized for each NPC, you can still customize their appearance (e.g. head part features are fully customizable on a per-NPC basis), or set race-specific rules for height/texture traits. Also note that all changes made to NPCs are saved by EBD and are consistent. in one save & can even be imported into another save. Therefore, even if you rerun the patch, NPCs will still look like the last time you encountered them in the game. See the Consistency section for more information.
The main features are:
Option to set height range for vanilla family. Each NPC has a height within the range you define for that match. EBD comes with a predefined set of values, but you can change them to your liking. This feature is completely scriptless as all changes are done in the plugin (.esp).
Choose to distribute hairstyles, eye colors, scars, eyebrows and beards among NPCs. . This includes hair/eye colors added by mods. You can finally have all NPCs in the sky benefit from ApachiiSkyHair and more. The distribution works on a random basis, but you can choose to use the in-game menu to select a specific head for each NPC. You can also block specific head parts. The script used by this feature is itself very lightweight. However, the hair mesh in particular may cause slight stuttering when loading from the hard drive. There are several ways to reduce this stuttering.
Option to distribute textures and meshes between NPCs. This feature requires you to set up the mesh and texture as described below. It allows to see all these great texture (and mesh) mods in your game at the same time. This also means your player character textures will be unique (no need for any custom races). This feature is primarily for free scripts. However, it requires a very lightweight script to apply facial color. The impact on scripting and performance is barely noticeable, although you should use texture resolution and not be too demanding on your VRAM.

Choose to use female animations for all women. You may have noticed that soldiers, bandits, orcs, and families use male animations, even though they are female. This feature will enable all women to use female animations. It's best to use animations in a new game and not change NPCs you've already encountered. Totally fr …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
