About this mod Machine translation
Animation pack replaces all 1 hour and 2 hour attack animations. There are 15 new attack animations in total.
This is my package that replaces all attack animations for 1st and 2nd hand weapons. The main difference between this and all other animation mods is that I use a different animation for each swing
You may or may not know this, but the way Skyrim attacks work in Skyrim is basically that you have 2 waves:
1 / 2hm_attackright.hkx - Swing first while standing
1 / 2hm_attackleft.hkx - Second swing while standing still
There are other variations depending on the direction you move.
For example:
2hm_runfwdattackright - (fwd = foward) first slash when running back
In vanilla Skyrim, there are only 2 swing animations for one-handed weapons and 2 for 2-handed weapons. It's the same 2 boring animations every time I press attack (not couting power attack).
My pack changes these 2 to a total of 10 (15 if we count power attacks) to give as much variety as possible.
So basically you get:
There are two different swings when standing still
There are two different oscillations when running/walking
2 different swings when running/walking backwards
2 different swings when running/walking
There are 2 different swings when running/walking left
The 5 new power attacks are also direction based.
A total of 15 new animations make combat more enjoyable.

These were recorded using weaponpeedmult 1.3 as this is the common value I play with all the time. It does make the combat animations feel less clunky/sloppy overall, at the same time, it's not enough to "break" some of the custom combat animations and make them look silly and not enough to make me feel like I have an advantage over the NPCs.
Install:
There are two methods, recommended and not recommended
Recommended:
You need to use FNIS PCEA2 or Nemesis PCEA
This method is recommended as it only changes the animation of the player, while the NPCs will retain their default animations. If you have never used them, visit FNIS PCEA2 and read about its installation and usage. Once you think you're ready:
If using MO:
Right click on FNIS/Nemsis PCEA -> Open in Explorer and go to \meshes\actors\character\animations\Nemesis_PCEA (or FNIS_PCEA2) and delete any existing folders from there.
If using NMM
data\meshes\actors\character\animations\Nemesis_PCEA (or FNIS_PCEA2) and delete any existing folders.
Download MANUALLY my mod (PCEA version) now. Unzip and move the folder to the Nemesis/FNIS PCEA2 folder that you removed earlier.
Run FNIS/Nemesis and you're done.
Those familiar with PCEA should know what to do. My packages have the highest priority by default (0_ and _1), so rename them according to your own package.
Not recommended:
This will just put the animations into the data folder, so the NPCs will use them as well. This is actually fine if you want to test them quickly without rebuilding your PCEA structure and re-running FNIS/Nemesis. Afterwards I would still recommend removing them from there and using the PCEA version if you decide you want to use them.
Known Issues: None, but there is a buggy mechanic. Basically when you hold 2 directional buttons (W+D, W+A, etc.) Skyrim tries to blend the animation of whichever direction you are going. In Vanilla there are no problems as all animations are the same, but my backpack doesn't look good because it's trying to play 2 different animations at the same time. I can't figure this out, so the only solution is to get out of the habit of attacking while holding down the 2 directional buttons.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
