About this mod Machine translation

SSE converts azirok's content on demand to Dragonborn. Requires Requiem 1.7.

Fully requires Dragonborn, making Solstheim an advanced area for characters who have already defeated Alduin. This patch is notoriously difficult, but so far the only one that really gives Miraak's questline a "grand finale" feel.

Why?

Because I prefer Requiem 1.7 to the new version.

What I did:

  • Removed all dependencies of old USKP files, fixed generated errors, and forwarded relevant USSEP edits.
  • Removed hidden dependency on weapon and armor fixes. If enough people want to use the two together, I'll patch them instead of requiring a WAF.
  • Converted the final plugin and fixed some deleted references here and there.

Other than that, the experience was 100% azirok.

Require

  • Requiem 1.7, available in the Old Files section of the Requiem download page. The 1.7.3 update is unnecessary. The patch should work for it too, if you really want it, but it contains a half-implemented version of future Mass Effect, so you can really avoid it. This version is easy to convert: just re-save the plugin in Creation Kit (CK Fixes is highly recommended) and run the Cathedral Assets Optimizer on the mesh, textures and animations.
  • USSEP
  • Requiem for Azirok - Resources. Again, the conversion is very simple. You can use the Cathedral Assets Optimizer to process the entire BSA.

Load order

Place it under Requiem.esp.

After Azirok's Dragonborn, snbcj's Classic Food and Drink and Classic Alchemy Overhaul should be loaded. The order of his other mods is irrelevant, but please note that Minor Arcana Reborn is not compatible with Requiem 1.7 (at least for now).

Timing is everything - Requiem for All should usually be put in order to fine-tune what you want. I really recommend that you let Miraak's cultists attack you after Dragonslayer, or at a high level, otherwise they will kill you alive.

If you have any Requiem patches involving Dragonborn content, you may want to put them on top of this, unless their changes are minimal to ensure their functionality.

Azirok, for making this patch and allowing me to publish the SSE transformation

Fully reqtifies Dragonborn, making Solstheim a high-level area intended for characters who already defeated Alduin. This patch is notoriously difficult but so far is the only one managing to truly give the feeling of "grand finale" to Miraak's questline.

Because I prefer Requiem 1.7 over the newer versions.

What I have done:

  • Removed all dependencies on the old USKP files, fixed the resulting bugs, and forwarded relevant USSEP edits.
  • Removed the hidden dependency on Weapons and Armor Fixes. If enough people want to use the two together I'll patch them instead of making WAF required.

Requirements

  • Requiem 1.7, available in the old files section of the Requiem download page. The 1.7.3 update is unecessary. The patch should work with it too, if you really want it, but it contains the half-implemented future Mass Effect, so really you can avoid it. This version is pretty straightforward to convert: just re-save the plugin in the Creation Kit (CK Fixes is highly recommended) and run Cathedral Assets Optimizer on the meshes, textures and animations.
  • USSEP
  • Azirok's Requiem - Resources. Again, very straightforward to convert. You can have the whole BSA treated by Cathedral Assets Optimizer.

Load Order

Put below Requiem.esp.

snbcj's Classic Food and Drink and Classic Alchemy Overhaul should be loaded AFTER Azirok's Dragonborn. His other mods' order is irrelevant, though do note that Minor Arcana Reborn isn't compatible with Requiem 1.7 (at least for now).

Timing is Everything - generally should be placed after everything Requiem in order to fine tune what you want. I really recommend …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
