*Features:
I've always been the one to play the mage character in RPGs. Necromancers have always been one of my favorite classes because of the difficulty and strategy of optimizing them, the preparation required beforehand, and the satisfaction they feel when all the time and effort you put into them pays off. I'll never forget all the fun I had with Oblivion and Skyrim's Resurrection, but I've always wished there was more complexity in the undead experience and more variety in the Necromancer build that was possible. So I've created this pattern in hopes that it will help in this regard and maybe someone else feels the same way.
This Mod does several things:
It creates its own undead skill, which is independent of the spell skill, the higher the level it is practiced and affects several spells.
It introduces some new mechanics to the undead experience while keeping the lore as close as possible.
It gives players an immersive way to progressively improve and expand their knowledge of the undead through a unique grid.
It prevents resurrected crosses from turning to ashes after death, thus allowing them to be resurrected again. Note that enemy Necromancers will also benefit from this feature, so it will make them more challenging.
It adds some new resurrection spells, removes the level cap, and opens up the ability to restore a greater range of different bodies than before.
It provides players with the opportunity to customize weapons, armor, and casualty gear.
It gives the player the ability to summon a resurrected conveyor belt.
It provides players with the ability to increase their regeneration limits in an immersive way.
The Resurrection Belt proposed with the new Resurrection spell will no longer trigger the annoying "that spell looks dangerous" comments from NPCs.
It gives players the ability to dissect the body, harvesting organs and ingredients that are usually hard to find in vanilla games.
It gives players the opportunity to see body and resurrection belt statistics so players can have a good idea of plans to optimize their belts.
It adds a way to safely and permanently store the body without resorting to dangerous and unreliable means of exploitation like the notorious ones. Permanent body development.
It gives players the ability to create a variety of undead creatures that can be resurrected.
It adds the ability to memorize large numbers of humanoids and creatures to create clones.
It includes fixes for some vanilla undead bugs, the "moonlight walking" bugs.
It opens up more uses for the Black Soul Gem.
It reintroduces Shadows of the Wasteland from Oblivion making it easier to obtain more Black Soul Gems.
It provides a fair way to resurrect dead NPCs without requiring console commands.
It enables players to craft non-magical copies of the Necromancer's Amulet and Necromancer's Robes sets.
This mod does not have:
SKSE 64 required.
Edit any vanilla specials or additional trees.
Edit any vanilla spell.
Need a new game.
Add any customized toppings.
Plus a ton of custom miscellaneous items.
Makes undead a crime and players will not receive bounties for practicing.
By nativeizing the Necromancer, players can perform it anywhere without being tied to an altar or specific location.
Disable the groaning sound emanating from the resurrected rattlesnake.
While the main goals of this mode have been achieved, it is still a work in progress, so more features and mechanics will be introduced in future updates.
*Mysticism::
Devomis Mystic, also known as the "Mystery of the Worm," is a dark demon who serves as a teacher and mentor to new necromancers. However, all things come with a pr …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
