About this mod Machine translation

This mod adds damage scaling to the player progression system. The default settings cause you to get a slight damage boost to melee range and magic whenever you level up. The importance of enhancements and how they are calculated can be changed via the MCM menu.

Adds damage scaling to the player progression system by modifying certain actor values.

Damage Scaling mods and tracks values instead of setting them, so it should be compatible with almost everything. Mods that specifically set actor values may interfere.

Boost looks like this: damageBoost + = playerLevel * selectedPercentage.

selectedPercentage can be configured differently for magic and physical damage.

You can also set up the calculation to use the player's investment in the stat.

Then the boost will look like this:

MagicDamageBoost + = (Magicka -100) / 10 * Select percentage.

StandardDamageBoost + =(Stamina + Health - 200)/ 10 * selectedPercentage。

Why use Damage Scaling?

Damage Scaling was originally intended to replace Skyrim's broken alchemy + enchantment system.

Making your character stronger rather than making your weapons stronger will allow you to pick up weapons along the way and make them viable.

This will allow for more diverse gameplay. As far as I know, it's better game design.

I still enjoy working out and being glamorous. I just don't like carrying around blacksmith armor and potions to make a sword 10 times stronger than the original. Is this even immersive... I'm looking for a mod that removes the charm of crafting and alchemy.

uninstall

Since it does modify actor values, it is important to disable this mod in the MCM menu before uninstalling it.

If you forgot to disable it, you can unequip everything and use the console command:

player.setav attackdamagemult 1

player.setav destructionpowermod 0

Looks cool, very similar to this mod)

Really absorbing the dragon soul (for SE, makes it feel worth killing the dragon)

Gold is XP (this also works well from a game design perspective

and rewards players with more skills, such as lower-level pickpocketing skills)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
