Purchase [CSG] Soul Gem Fragments from all spell merchants in Skyrim and use them to create Empty Soul Gem. You can also break any empty Soul Gem into Soul Gem Fragments. Break down the ones you don't need/want to contribute to better soul gems!

Being able to create your own Soul Stone is very useful. You now have another way to obtain soul gems instead of just finding them in random places. Breaking the Soul Stone is also useful. You can break down low-capacity soul gems, store [CSG] soul gem fragments, and create high-capacity soul gems (i.e. crush small soul gems to create common or larger soul gems).

I added my own custom Soul Gem Fragments ([CSG] Soul Gem Fragments) sold by Skyrim's most famous Spell Merchants.

Buy [CSG] Soul Gem Fragments from all the Spell Merchants in Skyrim and use them to create empty soul gems. You can also breakdown any empty soul gem back into soul gem fragments. Breakdown the ones you don't need/want to contribute to better soul gems!
