About this mod Machine translation
An overhaul of the innovative club survival mode.
Preface
I really like survival mode, but I don't like the overall balance of it.
Needs major repairs
All required scrap was reprocessed.
cold
The cold is as deadly as ever. The elixir debugger was moved here as it better matches the logic of the cold debugger.
Spoilers:
show
hunger
Hunger now affects Stam/mag regeneration, forcing all types of buildings to actively manage hunger. The values of RestoreHunerVerySmall and RestoreHunerSmall have been greatly increased, so all foods are viable - you no longer have to eat 40 potatoes.
Spoilers:
show
fatigue
Fatigue is still annoying, but its impact on combat has been greatly reduced since it's not something you can actively manage, like hunger, where you can store more food.
Spoilers:
show
distressed
Of course, all pain has to be reworked and, when canceled, changed.
Spoilers:
show
malaise
You are punished for not taking care of your own needs. When you don't take care of your needs, you start to feel uncomfortable. You will experience discomfort when one or more of these conditions are met: one need is in Stage 5, two needs are in Stage 4, or if all three needs are in Stage 3.
Spoilers:
show
more rewarding
Instead, it's more valuable to keep your needs in check. If you are warm, well fed and well rested, you will gain morale for 2 hours.
Spoilers:

Vampires and Vampires
Survival will now treat vampires and werewolves differently. They will not die from the cold, but they may not receive any rest bonus if survival mode is enabled. Additionally, bites as a vampire's owner will now properly trigger the appropriate survival feed bonus.
Vampires can choose from three presets based on their needs, or they can choose to suffer the full penalty like the rest of us.
Vampire Presets
Spoilers:
show
For werewolves, they gain 50 points of warmth level and fatigue increased by 50% faster. All of these can be switched in MCM.
Shrine Changes - Active Protection
Woe to the unfaithful. The shrine no longer cures diseases. Instead, they give 100% resistance for 8 hours. It's a simple, intuitive change that makes disease and religion a central part of the game.
Vigilantes can still heal you for free until they are brutally slaughtered at the Daun Guard Line.
drugs and alcohol
You can now use Skooma and alcohol to deal with the harsh punishments of Survival Mode.
liquor

simple toxicity
Medications can help, but taking too much can have consequences. If you overdose on the skull you will die. Drinking too much alcohol can make you feel sick for a while after the alcohol wears off.
Installation/Compatibility
Can be installed even if survival mode is already activated - this mode will automatically restart your survival mode.
To uninstall, disable survival mode, then remove this mode and run your save through save clean.
Load this module in the highest possible load order. Ideally it should be one of the first ESPs in the load order, just below the USSEP. The reason is that this mode edits out some of the vanilla forms for maximum consistency. These changes, including unofficial survival patches, are fairly unimportant and should be overridden by your other mods, although ideally you should fix them in a simple conflict resolution patch.
This mode is incompatible with any other mod for editing survival mode, including relaxed survival mode and the survival configurator. Unofficial survival patches are compatible, but outdated - all relevant fixes have been integrated into this mode.
Any mods that change or add skunk/alcohol need to be patched.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
