Dragon Bridge is completely redesigned - exterior only. Now with patches, improvements and additions to BellaDovah!
Since he was the outpost of the emperor's sentinels to Skyrim, and among other things, the most important strategic location in Hafinga, I wondered why the city was so small and so fortified. I wanted to recreate the feeling that Helgen had - arguably SKYRIM's most solid "town".
Here, we only have this.
This is mostly an aesthetic model - not stepping on the toes of the great JK and his cars (which I still love), but overhauling almost the entire town's exterior with high walls, thick gates and imposing towers. I wanted to do something new, actually a new solution, but the conversation with the NPC was unique and made me feel like the city was more alive. These include:
-A new player's home, Dragon Tower. You can get the key to this very small home from the executioner's chest, the former Sani who was hanged in the town. The tower home itself is comfortable, at least, offering only a few weapon racks and storage containers, but suitable for the needs of a luxurious starter home.
-New general supplies store, memory door goods.
- New towns generally have a unique feel, including the clock tower! Many other exterior features include more clutter, a custom town on the walls, a unique static mesh, all the things I thought possible to spruce up the town while keeping it as FPS friendly as possible - including the use of occlusion planes.
Edited by BellaDovah:
Fixed a "falling off the ground" bug when you entered the normal item shop, you will now have your feet planted firmly on the ground like you would when entering any other door.
Fixed the physics of hanging on top. I noticed that he would often convulse all over the place and end up curled up on the floor. I made a few changes to him (notes stuck in the mail) to keep things where they should be.
Replaced some functionality of Solstheim. Sorry, I know lanterns are much better than boring old skyline lanterns, but I just can't stand Dunmer Architecture in the Nordic capital. So, I changed the lantern to a vanilla lantern and took out the Thorsium mushrooms.
General merchandise stores are now open from 8am to 8pm and will be locked out of these hours. The shop owner was given the AI package so that she could stand at the counter during working hours, stay in the sandbox at home after get off work, and sleep in bed from 12 to 8 in the morning.
Added a new blacksmith outside the retired outpost. The area now houses a forge, a grindstone, a tanning rack as well as the original workbench. A new NPC named Salvatore will work as a blacksmith here from 8am to 8pm and will sleep inside the outpost (he has an extra bed). You will also find items littered around the area (bars, leather, weapons, armor) and he will also be selling his blacksmith's inventory.
Adjusted Navag to avoid NPCs walking into forges etc.
Removed hostile-looking iron bars from outside inns and general merchandise shops. This is a personal preference choice, I know features like this can be found in other popular mods such as JK's creations, but I just don't like them.
Added lighting to make the general merchandise shop and "Player Home" dragon tower lights brighter. I found these rooms to be too dark when using ELFX.
The executioner's chest will now be stolen, I don't like that the stuff inside is free, including the key to the tower. So, if you want to loot and get players home and into the tower, you have to steal the stuff.
Decorate general merchandise store. I replaced the iron bars with a longer counter, littered with discounted items. You can actually buy these items - they'll be in her inventory and you'll see them disappear from the counter. I also fixed up the fireplace in the back room which later had earthy terrain overflow - that's gone now.
A few other tweaks have been made to the general item shop, including adding gold and gems to her iron bar box, and fixing ownership of her items.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
