Bullseye Perk

by ChessPirate·v1.3·Updated 2020-03-31

This mod fixes a gameplay bug where, if the player has the Bullseye Perk, on a bow shot that paralyzes the target for a few seconds, the Paralyze Effect and drop animation will begin at the moment the arrow leaves the bow instead of the moment the arrow is pointing towards the bow and the arrow actually hits the target. There may also be a fix for the "frozen weapons" bug.

Bullseye Perk Crippling Bug Fix SE Version 1.3

This mod fixes a game bug where if the player has the Bullseye Perk

Bow and arrow shooting will paralyze the target for a few seconds. The paralysis effect

And the "drop" animation will start the moment the arrow leaves the bow,

Not when the arrow actually hits the target.

Mod creates a replacement Magic Effect Shader, similar to "HitEffectArt"

An object used by the game to display a target's paralysis and "delay" its target

The animation's start and start until the animation's health

Targets are actually reduced to indicate they have just been hit, plus 0.25 seconds

Just to make sure the effects and animations start on click.

The game entry changed by this mod is "ParalysisFFContact", located at

"Magic Effects" and "PerkBullseyeParalyze" under "Magic"

Therefore, one or both mods may not work properly if any other mod also changes these entries.

Version 1.2

  • Added built-in Skyrim script "magicAttachAshPileOnDeath" to

Paralyzes the magic effect property page so that any victim who dies under "Death" will disintegrate

Bullseye Perk's paralysis effect, thus avoiding the known Skyrim

If the actor dies while paralyzed, an error occurs when trying to do the following:

Reactivate the actor and it will either stand still or

"Go where you are". It is important to note that if this mod is required

It's working fine, it should be modified

"Walking in place paralysis/recovery bug repair SE".

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
