Auto Physics Reset

About this mod Machine translation
A plugin that automatically resets damaged physical sets under certain circumstances.
I originally planned to make this mod because of the sudden framerate drops I experienced when using kill moves or pairing animations.
The root of the problem lies in the physical clothing. The specific reason is that when the character's root node position changes drastically, the bones of the physical clothing will be distorted, causing a huge internal computational burden.
So by forcing a physical reset of the costume when the character's root node position changed drastically, I managed to achieve two effects: maintain the framerate and keep the costume looking clean.
[stuck tips]
The moment the physical reset is executed, the engine will simultaneously recalculate the physical effects of all physical objects on the character (hair, clothing, cloaks, accessories, etc.). The more physical items you have equipped, the more CPU resources will be consumed instantly during the reset process, which may cause brief lags. This is an inevitable phenomenon caused by the 3D reset mechanism of the "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" engine.
[Suggestions for smooth experience optimization]
Enable only necessary options (INI settings)
If not all situations require a reset, set only the absolutely necessary trigger conditions to true in AutoPhysicsReset.ini.
It is recommended to use animation "end" timing
Triggering the reset when the animation ends (Exit) is smoother than triggering it when the animation starts (Enter). There will be less visual jarring when a reset is triggered when a character returns to an idle state after completing a specific action.
Optional follower support
If the minion and player reset at the same time, the computational load increases exponentially. If you have a slow computer or are traveling with many followers, you can reduce the load by setting bFollowerSupport to false.
Adjust delay time
If the reset happens too quickly and causes animation conflicts, try adjusting the value of fEnterDelay. Setting the reset to trigger immediately after loading is complete, or when the animation is completely finished (after about 0.5 to 1.0 seconds) will appear more natural.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
