arigwen's recipe (for Requiem 3.2.0 SSE)
This mod is designed as a lightweight addition to Requiem, allowing greater healing of poultry, food, stews, soups, and drinks. It is currently in beta in preparation for the full Requiem for SE. I'm interested in any criticisms and suggestions that will be incorporated into the final version.

MARIGWEN'S RECIPE
brief overview
This mod is designed as a lightweight addition to Requiem, allowing greater healing of poultry, food, stews, soups, and drinks. It is currently in beta in preparation for the full Requiem for SE, which will be released later this year. I'm interested in any criticisms and suggestions that will be incorporated into the final version. The SSE converted version of Requiem 3.2.0 must be installed. Without this requirement, the mod will not work.
describe
This mod consists of two esps (for now).
Requiem_PoulticesandSalves.esp - This will add more Poultices and Salves recipes and increase the crafting quantity.
Requiem_UsefulFood.esp - This adds an additional buff to food, soups and stews, increasing the quantity made and increasing the duration of the effect.
method
All foods are classified by their basic ingredients (potatoes, tomatoes, salt). These components are then entered into a table and gains are assigned to them. All alchemical ingredients used in alchemy (such as salt and garlic) are assigned useful ingredients (non-toxic). All polishes become less concentrated as more ingredients are added to the formula. All delicatessens, soups and stews have been recreated using this table and its corresponding ingredients. For example, every recipe containing tomatoes will have the same polish, but as more ingredients are added to the recipe, the polish will decrease. Uncooked foods have additional buffs but retain their "raw" properties, so a strong stomach is still required to consume them. For this version I didn't modify any drinks or alcohol.
quantity
All recipes make 3 to 5 servings. So a resourceful adventurer can make a sundae dinner a part of a busy week.
duration
Duration increased to reduce the need for frequent meals during the day. Breakfast should take you until early afternoon, where you can eat again. You can finish your day with a snack if you want.
Need feedback
This is a beta version designed to prepare for the official requiem for SSE later this year. It's in beta form as I created buffs that are useful for playthroughs of the "A Dead is Dead" game, but I'm interested in modifying it to suit different play styles. So consider the following
- Is the gain too much or not enough?
- Should there be other recipes?
- Is the duration too long or not enough?
I've created a forum so that all advice and criticism can be provided in one place. If you decide to use the comments section instead, I have no problem with it, just know that I may move comments to the Forum section.

MARIGWEN’S RECIPES
BRIEF OVERVIEW
This mod was designed to be a lightweight addition to Requiem providing greater usefulness of healing poultices, food, stews, soups and beverages. It is currently in a beta version in preparation of the full Requiem for SE release expected later this year. I am interested in any critique and suggestions which I will incorporate into the final release. An SSE converted version of Requiem 3.2.0 must be installed. The mod will not work without this requirement …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
