❓ FAQ

**Q: What does this module do? **

This mod enables statistics in the tooltip of relics. For example, if you have the **Mercury Hourglass** relic, it will track the total damage you deal throughout the game.

**Q: What statistics do you track? **

It depends on the specific relic. I've tried to be as complete as possible, but there are so many relics that it will take time to make individual patches for each relic. Tracked statistics may also be updated based on player suggestions or new methods I find.

For example, for the "advanced" tracking of **Shrek's Eye**, it would log:

  • **How many cards did you draw**
  • **How many cards have their cost increased** (due to confusion effects)
  • **How many cards have their cost reduced** (due to confusion effects)

**Q: Does it work in multiplayer mode? **

**✅ Yes. ** This mod should work perfectly in multiplayer mode. If something goes wrong, it will also go wrong in single player mode (because it was an uncaught bug in one of my patches).

**Q: My relic only shows "Number of triggers: 4", shouldn't it be tracking more? **

Again, it's possible. **If you see a relic's stat that is golden "Number of triggers: X"**, that means **I haven't created a custom patch for it**. The relic will simply register a trigger when it flashes (the dim light when the relic is activated).

**This may be intentional** (the relic has no interesting data worth tracking), or I haven't had time to process it, or it's just too complicated to track. To see the specifics, you can always check out my Google Sheets where I document what I did and didn’t test.

**Q: Why not do X or Y? Why not track Relic Z? **

Any suggestions or ideas for improvements are always welcome! Whether it's statistics you'd like to see, or any feedback, we welcome it.

✨ **Game experience improvement**: This mod allows you to have a deeper understanding of the actual contribution of each relic in combat. It is an excellent tool for optimizing strategies and analyzing gameplay!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
