About this mod Machine translation
This is an overhaul of Skyrim. It is designed to make the game challenging even at high levels. Magic has been spruced up, craftable/explosive arrows added, speed enchantments added, new perks provided, and more! This mod is for players who are playing on Legend difficulty and want a further challenge.
VMS patch
As usual, Bethesda does a great job releasing games that require a lot of outside help, and since the story is so great, we're happy to oblige. My patch is a Skyrim overhaul designed to bring balance and challenge to the game. Like many other MRPGs, Skyrim is just too easy. This patch is a targeted effort to address this flaw. If you're like me, you'll find that the high-level Legends mode can get boring quite easily. Skyrim allows NPCs to be based on your level, so this patch does too. I pretty much ignored the creatures and undead, but most humanoid NPCs got a huge boost in aggression and overall stats. The prophecy warlord level has been unlocked, and the bandits are obviously more threatening!
Level-based item generation system:
Typically, items that only have a chance to spawn and/or have a chance to be enchanted will do so based on a static value for that chance (i.e., an item might have a 20% chance of not spawning or a 50% chance of being enchanted). In the list of photos associated with this patch, there is a picture that contains two graphics: one depicts the chance that an "optional" item will be spawned, and the other depicts the chance that the enchanted item will be enchanted. Optional items have a 33.3% chance of appearing at level 1, increasing to 73.5% at level 54, while the chance of being enchanted starts at 0% at level 1 and increases to 50% at level 63.
Armored Circle:
Small circles based on gold and copper are now marked as heavy armor, and all other circles are marked as light armor. A small circlet of armor would be considered a helmet completing a full suit of armor of any given armor material, so if an ebony cuirass, gauntlets, and boots were worn, a small circlet of gold or copper would be considered an ebony helmet. Likewise, an emerald or silver frill can count as a dragonscale helmet if worn with a dragonscale breastplate, gauntlets, and boots. Nonetheless, the circlet still counts as clothing relative to the mage armor perk, thus retaining the usefulness of the perk when worn.
New Bandit Tier: P Fury
A new bandit class is introduced in the game: Pirate. Pirates are 120% of your level and always have the best quality gear. If you're not prepared, you may take a hit, so be careful! Your character will need to be well-rounded to survive these powerful enemies, especially when you face multiples of these elite enemies. Just like in real life combat, your best chance of survival is not to take a hit! You must master evasion skills to become adept at dealing with pirates. Act fast or die!
New Bandit Class:
This patch integrates 110 new Bandit templates and dozens of new faces for Skyrim to provide a richer experience, including 3 archer classes (Archer, Shielded Archer, and Marksman), the Mage class, 2 melee one-handed classes (with or without shields), and the melee two-handed class. Archers use both bows and one-handed weapons, rather than simple daggers. The Marksman's Acrobatic Shot perk makes him more of a threat in missile combat than the Archer, deals more bow damage than the Archer, and is able to heal himself with restorative spells, but still only has daggers for close combat. Bandits using a one-handed weapon without a shield will have more damage dealt to them than bandits using a shield, and there is a 50% chance of using dual-wielding.
Compared with the template template, the new template provides the gangster with a more complete set of privileges. To be fair, they should have a sensible way of splitting the bonuses, just like players might be using the same class characters. All major bandit classes are subclassed to use either light or heavy armor. Additionally, it's …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
