About this mod Machine translation

This mod is the spiritual successor to Predator Vision, a new take on how perception works in Skyrim.

Has: can

Toggle visual features specifically designed for vampires and werewolves

MCM menu configurable hotkeys

Fancier aesthetic, an immersive way to see the world as a supernatural predator.

A framework designed to make it easy for modders to design and integrate their visual filter functionality into this mod.

Dynamic vampire skin compatibility.

It is possible to use the system with smart headbands if a compatibility patch is designed.

strength:

Thermal: Werewolves are available, designed with bright colors and high contrast, as well as some blur and heat from the creature's orange tones. The undead also become colder, emitting a soft blue hue.

Blood Sense: The shades available for vampires often look more gray, but the living animal glows red and pulses softly as the blood calls. Other vampires can be identified by their purple hue, and undead also glow in a light blue color.Night Vision: 100% desaturated but brighter, available for vampires and werewolves, also available with khajiit.

patch:

Dwemer Goggles: Requires the full dwemer goggles mod, for me it sometimes stops working after powering up and my mod does not. It's own MCM menu with many options and hotkeys, I would recommend disabling them all (setting all its hotkeys to functions you don't use) I guess you can still use the mod as it was originally designed, but I would recommend not using the goggles with my functions or using their functions at the same time, but not both at the same time. Currently, it has 3 loopable and switchable features including enhanced brigntess, detect threats, and the same threat assessment features as the original mod, but still handled by my technical staff. I got rid of the oil mechanic though. This is too cumbersome for me, and if you want to use it, this patch is not for you.

DVA: Compatibility is included in the mod. If you have a DVA, the adapted script will recognize Vision and integrate it with the DVA's functionality. Still requires the full mod to work.

Require:

SKSE

compatibility:

Vampire Overhaul Mod: I'm using Better Vampires myself, but this mod needs to be loaded behind it.

ENB: Check the FAQ section.

Predator Vision: Incompatible, not to mention redundant.

Work in progress:

Currently, only the Dwemer Goggles patch has been completed, but I plan to include more compatibility patches including Undeath, some clothing mods, and my Predator helmet mod (it may take a while if you expect me to do this, sorry).

Modifier:

Please feel free to use this framework for your mods, in fact, I even encourage you to do so. There's nothing better than standardizing all mods that do the same thing under the same economy and security scripting system. I've more or less given a simple explanation of the source code (at least that's what I thought it was) and how to use my script on any mod that can change visual filters, as long as it doesn't need to depend on my mod and the files are in the load order.

The mechanism is simple: any toggleable visual feature consists of 3 elements, the last one being function-specific. Toggle spells, Controller agility (toggle adds it, stays with the player until removed, controls filters and possibly detects life type spells) and Highlighter (detects life effects, cast with a brief pulse via the controller ability, paints the target any color you design)

question:

The only bug I've encountered is that sometimes I kill some enemies and the shader doesn't dissipate upon death, but this is a rare occurrence that only happens when the game is stressed, and unit reloading will always fix it.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
