About this mod Machine translation

The Twin Souls perk now gives the cast +1 to the summoning limit, and also +1 for every 200 Magicka (= Magicka without rings, blessings...), starting with 200 Base Magicka.

The Twin Souls perk now also affects your vampire lord appearance, originally disabled by the Dawnguard dlc.

Dual Soul Perk Improvements - Base Magic Increased

Summon of Spartacus limit 2211

describe:

Your summon limit increases by +1 when you gain the Two Souls perk. Additionally, your summoning limit increases by +1 for every 100 base mana your character has (= Magicka without rings, blessings...), starting at 200 mana.

The Twin Souls perk now also affects your vampire lord appearance, and was originally disabled in the Dawnguard dlc.

Example:

Actor has 50 Base Magicka and Dual Soul Perk -> Actor summoning limit increased by +1

Actor has 100 Base Magicka and Dual Soul Perk -> Actor summoning limit increased by +1

Actor has 199 Base Magicka and Dual Soul Perk -> Actor Summon Limit Increased by +1

Actor has 200 Base Magicka and Dual Soul Perk -> Actor Summon Limit Increase +2

Actor has 300 Base Magicka and Dual Soul Perk -> Actor summoning limit increased by +3

Actor has 50 Base Magicka, +250 Magicka from magic effects (300 Magicka total) and Dual Soul perk -> Actor summon limit increased by +1

Currently the mod is capped at +7 at 700 Base Magicka.

This mod does not set a summoning limit, like the original Two Souls, it adds rewards to the summoning limit when the requirements are met. In vanilla Skyrim, dual soul souls are not optimally designed, which means that while you have other bonuses that increase your summoning limit, like enchantments or other magical effects, you lose those bonuses after getting dual souls because it already sets the summoning limit to the number 2, no matter what. This problem does not occur when using my mod. My mod will stack rewards from other mods, which will raise the summon limit (except of course those mods do the same thing with the summon limit as vanilla Skyrim does: SETTING instead of ADDING).

This mod is inspired by the perk tree mod Ordinator, which has a similar perk.

Require:

There are 2 versions of this mod: one requires Dragonborn, the other requires only Skyrim (no-dlc-version, vanilla).

The Twin Souls changes are from the Dawnguard dlc (the Twin Souls perk does not affect players in vampire lord form). Since this mod removes the Two Souls perk edited by Dawnguard dlcs (Vampire King form is now affected by the Two Souls perk), the Dawnguard dlc is not required for my mod.

Since the Ash Spawns appeared in the Dragonborn dlc, additional edits to the Ash Spawns were required, as were the unofficial patches.

So, if you have Dragonborn installed, I recommend you use the Dragonborn version of my mod.

When you play the Dragonborn dlc and use the vanilla version (=Skyrim only version) of my mod, I don't know, how the summoning of Ash Spawns will affect the game.

Install:

Delete twinsouls_100magicka_Dragonborn_v1.0.esp in your Skyrim data folder (or twinsouls_100magicka_vanilla_v1.0.esp if you don't have Dragonborn installed) and check the mod in the game launcher/mod manager.

Can be installed mid-game, no new game required.

uninstall:

Delete the corresponding .esp file from the data folder.

It is generally not recommended to uninstall a mod and later load a save created when the mod was installed. I don't know what would happen if you did that. Since this mod doesn't run scripts or stuff, I guess there is no problem, but Bethesda has said that uninstalling mods midgame is not good. When you want to delete a mod mid game, it is best to edit the mod in TES5Edit and simply delete the changes it made to the game, which can be made by simply deleting each change by clicking the plus sign after loading the mod and deleting its contents (left click on the corresponding line and press delete on the keyboard).

conflict:

This mod changes the Twin Souls perk, so it conflicts with every other mod that also changes this p …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
