About this mod Machine translation

Not having zero stamina to attack/block/jump gives stamina a whole new meaning in the game rather than just being a limiter for sprinting/power attacks. Stamina is actually important and you should consider this in combat right now.

The latest version adds stamina consumption and CGO patches

. What it does:

Basically disabling normal attacks, power attacks, jumping, bow drawing, blocking (with or without a shield) and also forcing the player to draw the bow or remain on alert with zero stamina when stamina reaches a certain threshold. If you prefer this formula to some other mods, the mod now also makes these moves cost stamina. .

Why I did it:

I like modifying games to make them more challenging in terms of combat, so using both some action games (like action combat) and Vigor made me wonder why I could literally draw the bow with zero stamina and/or keep drawing the bow even when my stamina was fully depleted, so I looked it up on Google and found nothing about it. .

Compatibility/loading order:

Nothing should be changed that is compatible with *animation events* (not to be confused with animation replacements/adders), or at least those that this mod will change.

The latest version has MCM options that can change game settings such as stamina consumption, recovery speed, etc. for some players. If there are other mods, you can override these, if there are any, please do not change these options. Or force them on game loads (new in 1.2).

This mod conflicts with Violens and will cause the crossbow to not function properly (acting as a melee weapon instead).

No patch required, just load this mod before violence.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
