About this mod Machine translation
Automatically add mod items from your specific mod list to vanilla merchants and loot. Automatically rank items so they appear at different levels.
Includes weapons, armor, clothing, jewelry, ammunition, spell dome, food, alchemy and ingredients.
What does it do?
It adds items from your specific mod list and automatically distributes them to vanilla merchants and some loot lists.
It does this in a balanced way, so weaker items are revealed early in the game, while stronger weapons don't appear until much later.
As of v.2.0 of LE, SkyAI handles the following item types and maximum number of items: * Armor - 2032 items
project
*Apparel - 1524 items
*Jewelry – 1016 items
*Weapons - 2032 items
*Ammunition – 508 items
*Spelling Toms – 1016 items
*Potions and Poisons - 1016 items
*Food - 1016 items
*Ingredients – 1016 items
This gives you a killer friendly same way to get all your favorite modding items. Gone are the days of using console commands, browsing the 6000 crafting recipes in the Steel category, or "happening across a hidden warehouse in Riverwood."
No, instead you can travel between shops and buy gear the old-fashioned way.
Mods will sell items wisely, blacksmiths will sell modded items and armor but generally won't stock spell tomes, and mages will sell the opposite.
Food and drink will be sold by the inn, alchemists and ingredients will be sold by alchemists, and regular merchants will sell clothing (and Radiant Raiment, of course!).
You get it.
Installation - Disclaimer
This mod uses xEdit to run a script that will automatically patch your game based on your current mod list.
It includes a simple menu to customize your patch, so you can choose which modules to include and the option to select the types of items to include.
It does require some initial setup, so I managed to get Michael from GamerPoets to make a video of himself getting started with the installation.
Installation - required files
SkyAI uses a number of other programs and resources to work.
TES5edit is always called xEdit.
MXPF - This is a library for Skyrim related functions that SkyAI will use.
Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch - This is necessary because my BASE esp will use some of USLEEP's records.
SkyAI - includes ESP files and SCRIPT files.
Obviously you will also need some mods that add armor, weapons, spells or materials etc. Otherwise, why are you here?
Installation - Required Files (
Continued) 1. Install xEdit by downloading the files from its Mod page and extracting the contents to a location of your choice.
xEdit usually needs to be run as administrator, so it might be helpful to right-click the exe and select "Always run as administrator" under the Compatibility tab.
- Download MXPF, which is a file made for 32-bit Skyrim (RealRim - haha, just kidding).
Just extract its contents to the location where xEdit is installed. Make sure the "EDIT SCRIPTS" folder is merged with the same folder in the xEdit location.
- Download USLEEP and install it using the Mod Manager of your choice.
- As with MXPF, download SkyAI_SCRIPT_LE and extract its contents to the xEdit location, making sure the "EDIT SCRIPTS" folders are merged together.
- Download SkyAI_BASE_LE and install it using the Mod Manager of your choice.
- Now you have installed all the necessary files. Make sure SkyAI_BASE_LE is enabled and move it to the bottom of the load order (more on this later). Install-Run the Patch Now, let's start working on fixing the problem. 1. First run xEdit (as administrator). A menu will appear showing all your mods. By default, all your currently enabled mods will be checked and left as is. Make sure SkyAI_BASE_LE is enabled.
Note: If you have run this patch before and want to add more item …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
