About this mod Machine translation
This mod adds extra strength and less strength. Both are earned automatically upon the start of a match and give the player various rewards based on the unused Dragonsouls he/she retains.
Version log:
v1.1: Enchantments, Blessings, Poisons and Potions should no longer be affected by Perks
------------------------------------------ -------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------
describe:
Add new perks to the player at the start of the game. Find debug messages:
"The power of Dragon Roar was successfully applied to your character!" at the beginning of the game.
This perk provides players with the following rewards for each Dragonsoul you maintain:
+0.5 Archery and Two-Handed Damage +0.25
one-handed damage
+2% to the level and duration of all spells, cries and powers, Dragonborn cast
and smaller powers called "dragon powers". Whenever you spend or absorb a Dragon, you should cast this lesser power to gain the following permanent bonus for each Dragon God you retain:
+2 to unarmed damage
-1% shout out timer cooldown
+0.5% damage resistance, magic resistance and action speed
+3 to max health, stamina, magicka and carrying weight
+3% magic, health and stamina regeneration rate (+3 to HealthRateMult, MagickaRateMult and StaminaRateMult)
If you do not reshape this lesser power, you will not benefit from the newly absorbed souls. ->Effect only for smaller powers! Perk effects are independent of lesser powers and exist immediately!
After the number of keeping dragons changes, you must recast this smaller force each time. (I know, could be exploited. See "Why is a "lesser power" and no lasting effect?" for reasoning.)
The effect will not show up under active magic effects, but you can check the increased health, magic, and stamina bonuses in the skill menus.
You won't be able to see the effect in the magic menu, but you can demonstrate it by observing magic, health, and stamina in the skills menu, viewing damage to weapons in your inventory, and using the console command player.getav [regardless of actor value].
I'd like to add a higher damage bonus to physical damage, but those numbers are multiplied by additional weapons (Arms, Barbarian, Overdraft) and enchantments (augmented skill damage), which makes a bonus of +0.5 per Dragon Soul actually +2 or higher in game. That's enough.
Why don’t “lesser powers” have a lasting impact?
Because I can't get these things to work as expected. So I made a smaller force. You have to play "honest" with yourself. If I remember correctly, others had the same or similar issues when creating mods like this. I decided to make a smaller power so I could avoid any script stuff.
If you know of another way to make this work, please let me know. I'm open to suggestions.
Let me say it again: the effect of the Perk has nothing to do with power, no need to project power at all!
script?
There is only one script that is run at the start of the game that adds power to the player, nothing more.
Require:
Skyrim only
Install:
Place the .esp and .bsa files in the Data-folder of the Skyrim folder. Before starting the game, please check the .esp in Mod Manager/Game Launcher.
Can be installed mid-game, no new game required.
uninstall:
Delete .esp and .bsa from the data folder.
It is generally not recommended to uninstall a mod and later load a save created when the mod was installed. I don't know what would happen if you did that. Since this mod doesn't run scripts or stuff, I guess there is no problem, but Bethesda has said that uninstalling mods midgame is not good. When you want to delete a mod mid game, it is best to edit the mod in TES5Edit and simply delete the changes it made to the game, which can be made by simply deleting each change by clicking the plus sign after loading the mod and deleting its contents (left click on the corresponding line and press delete on the keyboard).
I've read in a discussion on creationkit.com that games tend to remember Actor values, so m …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
