About this mod Machine translation

The Genesis release will:

  • Autofill level encounters. Any new dungeon from any mod or dlc, even if a patch for Genesis hasn't been created yet.
  • It uses the dungeon type to determine the appropriate enemies to spawn.

At first, it was empty. . . Out of one's disobedience comes this void.

His evil comes in the form of betrayal and lies, and his actions will spread a dark curse across our Promised Land.

Summary:

what is it? Standalone add-ons to our main mod (meaning our main mod is not required) replace the need for mods, such as the Populated series of mods (Dungeons, Crypts and Caves). What's unique about our approach is that we created an ingenious spawning system that dynamically "injects" NPCs throughout the dungeon, rather than just "lowering" them. These NPCs and their locations have been intelligently chosen to ensure a unique adventure every time you play the dungeon. (For example, a treasure chest will be scanned, and if found, a unique Guardian NPC can be placed to protect it.)

This model is extremely lightweight and can deliver densely populated dungeons on the fly; this Unleashed version of Genesis works with all DLC content and all modified dungeons.

history:

For those who care: This feature was included in the full Sands of Time (SoT) mod at one point, but due to popular demand we created a separate standalone mod for Genesis and gave it its own mod. After doing this, we hit hotfiles almost immediately (which is awesome!). The mod then gained a lot of attention, resulting in more feedback and more suggestions on how to extend and enhance this functionality. Ultimately, the Genesis mod is more advanced than the Genesis system built into SoT. For the sake of simplicity, we decided to keep this functionality completely separate from our main mod, which will make it easier for us to upgrade and create the various patches we need (for Monster Mods and SICs) without having to do double work. We feel this will be better/easier for us and you. so,

As for how Genesis Unleashed came about: the original Genesis was popular and is still running on all platforms. The SE version is here.

out out of 1.0? Let’s call it version 1.0. In order to work, it uses a single skeleton per dungeon to run a single script that populates the dungeon with enemies and loot.

This requires tedious patches to make it work with new dungeons from mods or DLC-sized projects like Beyond Bruma - too much work. To solve this problem, Genesis 2.0 was born!

feature:

Even if a patch for Genesis hasn't been created yet, any new dungeon with an appropriately positioned enemy NPC can be automatically populated using any mod or DLC.

Use the dungeon type to determine which enemies spawn. SPAWNS will be activated

Beyond Bruma compatible. That's why we made this - if you're used to SOT dungeons, the parks in the Bruma Dungeons area are/cake/too easy to walk. This will solve the problem.

No DLC required

A new toggle added to the menu book to determine whether new dungeons should be automatically populated.

or

Step 3 - Alternate) Reload and restart the game using the previously saved backup from Step 1 during the installation process

compatibility:

This mod is compatible with everything. In addition, for those who have already played SoT, this will further enhance your dungeon gaming experience!

(The two work well together.) The mod is fully compatible with other mods that come across mods like ASIS (just make sure …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
