About this mod Machine translation

Have you ever been in a dungeon and killed everything in one hit without even trying to avoid hits or struggling like a grapple, only to get one shot by some random "boss" Draenor? Well of course I do, I think this is Skyrim's biggest problem and this mod aims to fix it!

Have you ever been in a dungeon, killing everything in one go, not even scratching without trying to avoid being hit, only to end up getting hit by some random "boss" draugr? Well of course I do, I think this is Skyrim's biggest problem and this mod aims to fix it!

Now don't get me wrong, there are a lot of mods out there that try to fix the so-called "ease of use" of Skyrim, but all of them just make the problems worse - in order to accommodate them, you've turned your character into an unstoppable death machine. With all the armor and enchantments, they just make the difference between enemies even higher than it already is, and it's already ridiculous! The basic draugr has 50 hp, while the most difficult draugr can reach 1400, which is 28 times more hp! And the damage that comes with it!

It's an arms race, and if you want to compete with the toughest challenges the game has to offer, you have to knock out the remaining 90% with your own hands.

Here's my solution - how do we bring the difference between the strongest and weakest enemies and the overpowering ability of exhausted players to a reasonable level without them even realizing that even basic bandits are still a force to be considered in a post-apocalyptic game if they attack you in groups.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a proof of concept mod, and while I have a strong idea of what this mod should be, and a desire to implement it with silly clicks, I'm not very well versed in modmaking and programming, so expect to miss out on enemies, game mechanics, and regressive ways to achieve your goals. This mod has been in development for a long time (mainly due to testing), but now due to large projects like Beyond Skyrim I absolutely have to make it universal, so I need help implementing my ideas into script form.

Also important: I highly recommend playing the mod with VioLens, which allows you to customize killcam animations quite deeply, including disabling them from targeting the player character, so it will save you from the frustration of tenacious enemies who will kill you over and over in cutscenes without even getting close to you or swinging.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
