This mod applies different animations to each ActorBase. There is no ESP file.
By using custom conditions added in v1.1.0, users can customize the conditions under which animations are applied. See the forum for details.
ActorBase added by mods is also supported. Creatures are also supported. The maximum number of animation files per project is 16384. This amount is the sum of the original files in Skyrim, files added by other mods, and files added by this mod. If there are too many, the message box will display an error and the animation will not be loaded. Due to the limited number, it is not recommended to apply a large number of animations to multiple ActorBases in the same project. If you want to know the current animation count, open "..My Games\Skyrim\SKSE\DynamicAnimationReplacer.log".
How to add animation
Place the file in the appropriate folder. No special tools required.
animations\DynamicAnimationReplacer\(esp name)\(actor base ID)\(animation folder and files)
(Actor Base ID) must be 8 characters. The first two characters are "00".
Example:
Player-"Mesh\Character\Character\Animation\1hm_attackpowerleft.hkx"
->"Mesh\Character\Character\Animation\DynamicAnimationReplacer\Skyrim.esm\00000007\1hm_attackpowerleft.hkx"
Serana - "Mesh\Character\Character\Animation\female\mt_idle.hkx"
->"Mesh\actor\character\animations\DynamicAnimationReplacer\Dawnguard.esm\00002B6C\female\mt_idle.hkx"
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
