About this mod Machine translation
An easier way to do this when you hit an enemy with your weapon.
This MOD itself does not have any functionality - it supports other mods.
There are several ways to perform certain actions when you hit an enemy:
Perks can invoke combat spells. - But only one of them can be called, and if the entry point has multiple privileges, only one will be fired. Same as applying a bash incantation.
Enchantments can apply fire and forget/contact spells. -Weapons can only have one enchantment if this is relied upon.
I could call it a Raiders story point. -This is too slow.
The best way seems to be to create a mission and populate the alias, and update it to the enemy.
I found myself using #4 on many different mods and had to recreate the same infrastructure to handle the enemies in each one. So I built this framework to handle enemies being hit, and then the mod I made used it.
With a little scripting, it's possible to add effects when hitting an enemy with this frame. Infrastructure work is complete.
If you make a mod that includes dealing 15 damage to undead targets when hitting them: add this script to a miscitem and call: damocles.addhitrule(yourmiscitem) somewhere appropriate for your mod, I wrote an article that deals with this process further.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
