About this mod Machine translation

Restored the ruined house into a shop, a stable with 4 horses, added a vocal merchant, a Player's hut, and a protective stone wall surrounding the town.

Of course, there are other Winterhold mods, but I don't like any of the ones I've seen. Why add more USELESS ruins that just take up space? ? ? This really drives me crazy. I mean, it's one thing if you show it as a historical archaeological site, but the "Great Collapse" was 200 years ago, so we've actually restored the city! Although "The Great City of Winterhold" excels at one thing: inspiring the great predecessors of a once powerful and famous city-state.

This mod attempts to make Winterhold not the great city it once was, but what it could be. It started out as a very simple mod called "Winterhold Rebuilt" that replaced destroyed houses with new ones and merchants. Then Quaxe made a mod with the same name that did the same thing, so when I added more actions I changed it to "Winterhold Restored". Then someone else did it and took the name! *sigh**

I've been working on this mod non-stop for a few years (at least 4, maybe 6, never even released for Oldrim) and actually scrapped it 3 times and started over. Finally decided to look into some actual history of Winterhold (which I found really interesting!) and incorporate some of it into the mod somehow. So this is for the future.

Anywho, I decided it would be best to sneak my name out before more people do the same thing, like everyone else, under the name "Winterhold Restored" and then post it. first. I give him/her this, that mod looks really cool and does more than mine. No I'm not jealous at all lol *takes a moment to mope*

Now:

  • Turn a merchant's ruined house into a shop house with custom voices

-New custom logo!

  • The protective stone wall on the side of the cliff must block the cold wind!

-Activate at the enchantment table in the player's house to switch between wall screen and tree screen

  • Player hut, Snowstone Hut, filled like a mage's home

-4 types of activators: summon a shrine, hang a painting, take a bath and change the wall

  • Stable with 4 horses (currently free, but will turn that guy into a horse dealer in the future)
  • CW and any other marked houses in ruins just

Moved 6) Navigation mesh adjusted around new buildings, fully tested and finalized

  • New interior with full navigation mesh for followers
  • Some skulls, boulders, snowdrifts, dead trees, etc. 9) Requires extensive horizontal editing in some places

Player cabin key location:

In the safe by the front door

compatibility:

-Dong’s Immersion Academy -Yes, I haven’t touched the academy yet

  • Funny NPC - YES, Vigram can still sit on the bench outside the bakery with his horse Frances

-There may be some miscellaneous items. I put a crate and a pouch in place of the table and chairs => disable them.

  • Lord Quaxe's "Winter Makeover" - Probably NO since he does a lot of the same thing
  • JK's Winter - - Part - He does not restore destroyed houses, but does add ruins
  • Big City Winter/The Greatest City-Small Town (Merge)

- No, put a lot of things in the same area

Need to make a patch that removes all mod's Winterhold changes

For myself, I got another personal "Great Cities of..." mod (minus Winterhold) and merged it.

  • Winter Recovery (another one) - NO, did a lot of the same thing

Anyone, I don't know.

question:

- If you have trouble launching your bed, just place your cursor on the bed frame.

 - SSEEdit doesn't show any errors, but the boss/swag report shows "5 deleted Navmeshes that cannot be removed."

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
