README

Welcome to Man Vs Nature, a bit of a challenge-statement to any and all players.

Built to embody the phrase itself, the premise is simple. The Planet is gonna kill you. For real this time.

Currently a bug where some stages will just not spawn enemies at all. No I don't know how to fix it, No propersave won't fix it. It's just a run ender. Please send me a log if you encounter it so I can get help (strangepersonofstrangecity.4624, discord.)

Highly reccomended to turn your graphics down to handle the pack.

Don't use the music if you're recording or streaming, mithrix's theme is copyright infringment incarnate

ChangeLog

  • 2.0.5
  • removal of the "survivor fix" mods
  • a bunch of bugfix mods for survivors
  • otherwise unchanged!
  • 2.0.4
  • Mithrix's level hp gain nerfed. He was a little too anti god run. at least for a regular survivor run.
  • amalgamated wisp's chance of appearing made 2%. stone greater wisp's chance of appearing boosted to 16%. I was getting tired of that instantkill problem too.
  • 2.0.3
  • this update almost had shrine of repair, but there was a bad incompatibility. Know I tried.
  • Alpha Constructs nerfed for attack speed, so storm+warfare hurts less.
  • vulture variants completely removed. Neither one had real, trackable shots, and both basically instakilled you.
  • White caulrons now replace the redscrap cauldron, and a garunteed scrapper is on stage 5, at the price of printers.
  • 2.0.2
  • Imp Acceleration nerfed. those imp variants are a little too nasty for stage 1 as-is.
  • Nuclear Jellyfish are now unique, so the hp inflation stops happening.
  • all wisps are now unique. Again, Hp Inflation with variant multiplier. Makes stuff a bit of a nightmare.
  • Mul-T and Artificer given a proper 80 acceleration stat.
  • various characters given +2 to base damage, to avoid peashooter issues. (everything is really tanky, after all.)
  • 2.0.1
  • Removed totality completely, didn't feel like it was like.. red rarity. which it should be, it's the red among the essence. and I didn't know how to fix it.
  • Buffed the Imp Overlord, seeing as I forgot to before the official drop.
  • removed highitemviz, just. didn't work out
  • added eclipse curse.:)
  • 2.0.0
  • We're finally, finally, finally back. With a full rework! It's amazing I am glad to be back!
  • added augmentum and all it's touches!
  • unlocked the starstorm items and let them be used.
  • removed arcane blades, mu construct, and a couple other things.
  • Using inferno now, instead of typhoon!
  • added further aim assist!
  • many characters lost buffs. unfortunately.
  • crafted a custom music mod to go with the modpack, but don't use it if you plan to record, probably. I did put in some copyright infringment.
  • please just go check the document if you've been commited to the pack for a while.
  • 1.12.10
  • Did I say I restored collapse? Well, NOW I did.
  • 1.12.9
  • it was not allignrexhurtbox, but GiveItBack. Fixed and returned Rex's Buffs.
  • Restored Collapse, with nerfs.
  • Aegis no longer allows barrier decay.
  • worms can now Properly Double-Elite.
  • Microbots can drop independant of captain.
  • Magma Worms on Sky Meadow!
  • the game will wait until everyone is readied up before launching in multiplayer.
  • 1.12.8
  • Yeah so allignrexhurtbox deleted rex when running.
  • changed the overloading buff slightly, I need to pay more attention.
  • 1.12.7
  • added cursecatcher for my eclipse fans. Rex's Self-Damage is a death sentence that needs correcting.
  • Added alignrexHitbox. Now he can actually run away from things.
  • Minor(?) overloading buff, after realizing I could get hith overloadiing bombs from a Double-Elited Solus and not take any damage.
  • Replaced Artifact of Revival with a pillarrevive mod. It was a holdover from the betterpillar days we don't need anymore.
  • 1.12.6
  • Fixed it so void bands show u

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
