LookingGlass Simplified Chinese patch

Translate the included text in LookingGlass's main property panel, Tab property panel and ESC module settings into Simplified Chinese.

Chinese scope

• Attribute panel: Damage, attack speed, critical hit rate, armor, movement speed, kills, combo damage, portal and other labels.
• ESC → Settings → Module Options → LookingGlass: Set grouping, option name, description and included drop-down options.
• The text after the default switch in the property panel will continue to be translated when displayed; templates that have been previously changed to Chinese can also be used.

Simplified Chinese is mandatory for Chinese. Other module settings, LookingGlass prop statistics tips, configuration file comments, and new text that are not included are not within the scope of this Chinese translation. Some common buttons still use the original text.

Install

After release, you can search for LookingGlass_Chinese_Patch in r2modman Mod Manager and install it. The required dependencies are installed by the manager.

When testing for the first time or directly sharing the ZIP, first ensure that the following dependencies are present, exit the game, merge the BepInEx folder in the ZIP into the configuration folder of the actual game, and then use the manager to start the mod game. The profile location can be opened in the manager's settings via Browse profile folder / Browse profile folder.

If you have manually installed a separate ESC Chinese DLL before, please replace the original BepInEx/plugins/LookingGlassZhCN/LookingGlassZhCN.dll with the merged version. When you later use the manager to install the public version, remove this old manual DLL first to avoid loading the same patch repeatedly.

The patch translates attribute text when displaying it, does not replace the original module DLL, and does not write to droppod.lookingglass.cfg. Personal fonts, layouts, switches, custom templates, and numeric variables are preserved.

uninstall

Uninstall this patch through the manager; for manual installation, remove BepInEx/plugins/LookingGlassZhCN/LookingGlassZhCN.dll after exiting the game, and then restart the game. The display translation of the patch is then removed. If you have modified the Chinese CFG by yourself before, the CFG will still be retained after uninstalling the patch, and you will need to restore your backup configuration to undo that part of the change.

Verification status

Passed native dependency compilation, 182 menu translation checks, 13 actual module property template checks, numeric/variable/typesetting protection checks, Risk Of Options real language registry check, and mount and undo checks for actual Harmony patches.

Haven't launched the game yet for visual verification. Before uploading to the public for the first time, please confirm that the Chinese fonts, main panel, Tab panel, preset switching and ESC settings in the game are displayed normally.
