Do you feel that the dialogue in Resident Evil 4 Remake is a bit bland, too neutral, and **misses the charm** of the original game?
Have you ever wished you could bring some of the old personality of those **beloved characters** back into the remake?
💬 This subtitles mod **fully revamps** almost all cutscene dialogue. In-game dialogue has also been revised.
It brings back the iconic lines and cleans up a lot of the excessive "Marvel-style writing" that was present in the remake. (e.g. "Wow, you're a big guy." etc.)
Nearly every cut-scene dialogue in the game has been reworked in an effort to bring back classic, iconic phrases and expressions to replace the poorly written lines in the remake.

⚠️ IMPORTANT!
This mod **does** not change the **voice acting**! It only modifies **English subtitles**! You'll need to switch the game's **audio language** to Japanese or another language you don't understand so you can enjoy the new dialogue subtitles!
New voice acting is in progress and will be released once completed.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
