1. Please read before installation

**BLOODLUST will significantly change the balance of the original game. **

This Mod is **not suitable for ordinary vanilla process**.

It is highly recommended to use it with extremely difficult, high enemy density, survival pressure-oriented or combat-changing Mods.

**Supports:** Main story mode.

**Not supported:** Separate Ways.

Only **one** version of BLOODLUST can be enabled at a time.

**Important! ** This mod is currently only compatible with **older versions of the game** that have not been updated.

If your game has been updated, please refer to the downgrade/rollback tutorial first.

Some players may encounter skill failure problems. The reason is unknown and needs to be solved.

2. Which version should be downloaded?

Recommended for most players: Fast version

• BLOODLUST English Fast
• BLOODLUST Chinese Fast

The Fast version removes the heavy save file detection path to avoid the problem of **stuttering every 2-3 seconds** reported by some players.

If you use the Fast version:

• It is recommended to purchase the upgrade **near the typewriter**.
• Please **manually save the game** after purchasing the upgrade.
• If necessary, the current configuration state can be saved using the **Force Save** button in the Mod menu.

Standard version

• Contains archive file detection and automatic confirmation configuration saving mechanism.
• Provides more complete rollback protection.
• Periodic freezes may occur on some computers.

If you experience lag every 2-3 seconds after purchasing the upgrade, switch to the Fast version.

3. What exactly does this Mod do?

BLOODLUST adds a complete in-game combat growth system to Lyon.

Players can spend **Pesetas** in the game to purchase combat skills, unlock **Ultimate Upgrades**, and gradually build Leon's combat capabilities in the current process.

Simply put:

-Trigger a temporary combat bonus after killing an enemy.

• Spend pesetas to upgrade 7 different battle systems.
• The ultimate transformation can be unlocked after each main skill reaches level 5.
• Gain damage, recovery, ammo economy, burst output, and high-stakes combat abilities.
• Manage skills, loadout slots, HUD and save states via a custom in-game UI.

No need for large PAK files.

No need to replace models or resources.

The gameplay system is mainly implemented through lightweight REFramework Lua scripts.

4. Core combat system

BLOODLUST doesn't just make Leon stronger.

Make kills and resource acquisition more valuable, get more pesetas, and speed up the pace of upgrading.

Lucky Ammo / Lucky Ammo

Improve ammunition utilization.

Each shot has a chance of not consuming ammunition.

Hemolytic Agent / Hemolytic Agent

After killing the enemy, a short window of free ammunition will open, which can be used to continuously suppress the enemy.

Corruption / Corruption

Actively activate destabilizing forces.

For the duration, each shot stacks with additional final damage.
