Smoking Complete FR 🚬

**A new dynamic smoking experience! **

Now you can smoke longer and hold the cigarette/cigar in your mouth. Enjoy a truly immersive experience: smoke while walking, interacting with NPCs, during a gunfight, riding a horse, playing poker, sitting around a campfire, chopping wood, and more. You can even smoke in some cutscenes. Additionally, you can easily access a menu with various scenarios. This mod is fully compatible with other mods, including *Seats* and all role-playing mods.

✨ Core Functions

• **Default keys**: Press **N** to smoke a roll, press **Comma (,)** to smoke a cigar.
• *Tip*: After lighting the cigar, you can also use the **N** key to control it - I allow this because this key is so close to the WASD.

• **Quick Smoking**: One tap for a quick puff.

• **Long puff**: Press and hold the button to take a long puff. (If you press and hold for more than 2 seconds, the cigarette will automatically be held in your mouth.)

• **Hold in mouth**: Press and hold the button while smoking to hold the cigarette/cigar in your mouth, freeing your hands. This way you can go on missions, carry bodies, shoot, hunt, grill, and more.

• **Take it back to your hand**: When the cigarette/cigar is in your mouth, press and hold the button to take it back to your hand.

• **Discard**: When smoking, press the button to discard the cigarette/cigar.

• **Open Scene Menu**: Hold down the **K** key to open a menu of various poses/scenarios (e.g. sitting on the ground, leaning against a wall, etc.). You can add your own scenes in the settings.

• **Manual Smoking Mode**: By default, the smoking action is automatic, but if you press the **Y** key, you can take a puff when you want.

⚙️ Configuration

All keys are configurable, and there are many other options to tweak in the **SmokingComplete.ini** file.

🎮 Controller support

Controller support is slightly limited. Manual smoking mode is currently keyboard only, and you can't start smoking while playing poker or other minigames/cutscenes. It is recommended to hold a cigarette in your mouth before sitting down.

• To start smoking (easy instructions): Press **D-Pad Right** (don't hold it down), then use the **RB** keys. Choose *Cigarette* or *Cigar*.
• To control the cigarette: Press **D-Pad Right** (don't hold it down). A prompt "Discard/Move Cigarette" will appear, then hold down the **RB** key to move it, or tap the **RB** key to discard it.
• To open the Scenarios menu: Press the Backpack button, then open the *Scenarios* menu (D-Pad Up).

🎯 Gameplay details

• While smoking, your Death Eyes regenerate over time. This is useful in combat when you don't want to abuse items.
• If you hold the cigarette in your hand (out of combat), you will recover more Death Eyes.
• Pulling out the weapon will automatically put the cigarette in your mouth before firing. (This setting can be modified.)
• If you have drawn your weapon and started smoking, your character will quickly light a cigarette with his free hand and hold it in his mouth.

📝 Notes

The scene menu contains a submenu with the smoking scenes built into the game. I added them because the animation works well. Unfortunately, as with all scenarios, you can't move while performing them, and the cigarette will drop when exiting the scenario.

⚠️ Known limitations

• Scenes using other props (such as newspapers) may not work well. To avoid this, hold the cigarette in your mouth or use manual mode.
• Running while lighting a cigarette may cancel the lighting animation.
• Lighting a cigarette on a horse may sometimes skip the animation because another animation may be playing (hand switching, stroking the horse, etc.).
