R.E.M (redefining physical movements)

🌟Mod Overview

Welcome to experience the "R.E.M" (Redefining Physical Movement) module! This mod aims to fuse and recreate the classic ragdoll physics from Red Dead Redemption 1 and GTA 4. While there are already similar mods on the market, I highly recommend testing my version for yourself!

This mod is mainly made based on my personal preferences, so please forgive me if it does not fully match the physics of RDR1 and GTA4. Please keep in mind that this mod has just passed the BETA testing phase and is not yet a complete overhaul!

---

🎯 Recommended combination

For the ultimate gory experience, I highly recommend pairing R.E.M with the following mods:

  • **BloodLust**
  • **Head Bleed**
  • **Just Fucking Bleed Already**

All these mods can be found on!

---

⚙️ Additional settings

If you want to **re-enable grabbing on headshots**, just:

  • Open the "physicstasks.ymt" file
  • Use Ctrl+F to search for "DisableReachForWoundOnHeadShot"
  • Change the first line from `` to ``
  • Save the file

You can also customize the reaction time in "physicstasks.ymt":

  • Search for "MinimumShotReactionTimeAIMS"
  • Enter the value you want (default is 1550)

---

💡 Warm reminder: This is the first module I have made. The production process is quite tedious. I hope you can bear with me! Enjoy this physical feast!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
